  1. Jeez...I have mjj on ignore but it seems he won't <deleted>! So here is another question to change the effin subject!coffee1.gif

Name the only jockey to win two Derby's on the same day.....Again, no cheating....and I need the names of both Derby's. Toughie this one...wiki may not help as much this time!thumbsup.gif

No need to keep me on ignore, I left for a while because it became too aggressive on here. I decided to give it another go, but it's no longer any fun on here.

Thank you to some of the guys on here for the laughs, but without further ado a bid you a final farewell.

  2. you're still missing the point. either deliberately or just by being a bit dim.

it's your home match after securing the league title. do you a] sing songs about your team, how good they are, how much you love them, that you are the champions and what a great day it is to be a chelsea fan or b] sing pretty much non-stop abuse at a player who once didn't sign for your club and about the error he made last season that handed the league title to your current biggest rivals?

a] is the behaviour of a football supporter. b] is the behaviour of a simpleton.

you're also making that classic chelsea mistake of assuming that liverpool see chelsea as a rivalry. we really don't. i don't "hate" chelsea, they're irrelevant. no matter what sky and certain press try to drum up.

No, I think you are missing the point. One of the great traits of the English is taking the p1ss. I love it and so do many others. However, when it is time to be serious, it is time to be serious. When Stevie Me was leaving the field, that was the time to let the true colours shine. Everything before was just taking the Michael.

You mention fans using a slip sign. Well, what percentage of fans had one compared to the number of fans applauding him?

Actually, forget it. We should instead, go and set fire to our ex-players shirts.......

Uhmm. A great trait is taking the piss. I will guarantee you that only a fool would believe that to be true. Most people would consider humility, or the like, as a "great trait". It seems that taking the piss is only considered even funny if you are doing it. in the other direction it is called an insult; which is definitely not a "great" trait. By the way, a trait is inherited from our parents, which probably says a lot

So you insult me and my parents......well done.

P.s. A trait does not have to be inherited from your parents. Next time you try to be smart, make sure you are.

It seems that your banter ethos has disappeared. I think I just proved my point. And the kind of trait I'm talking about id definitely inherited from your parents, and al I was doing was taking the P**S, I thought you liked thatblink.png

    Yeeeeeaaaaaahhhhh, okay..................backtrack, backtrack.

  4. Depay, wearing the no 7, just said good bye to the PSV fans by smashing in a 35 yard free kick, very Ronaldoish.

No doubt he looks an excellent prospect but the goalkeeper needs sacking for letting that goal in.

It is difficult to assess players from the Dutch league. I remember Kezman coming to Chelsea with a stunning record,105 goals in 122, then for us it was 4 from 25, and one of those was a penalty.

  5. A year ago tonight we were champions...lets hope in a calendar year we'll be celebrating again.

Let's hope so BB. But I think we will have to spend this year. Interestingly we have spent less than United, Chelsea and Liverpool over the last 2 years to try and comply with FFP. I think we should shove two fingers up at them this year as United (even with their deb't) are outspending everyone in the prem. This is what's wrong with FFP in my opinion.

I guess those figures are gross not net?

  7. I think it's just banter stevie and Gerrard can take a joke. The applause when he just went off from both Liverpool and Chelsea fans was a nice touch though.

as i've said before though boj, 'banter' can <deleted> off. it's for people who don't understand humour but who think they are being funny.

and as gerrard himself has just said on Chelsea fans applauding him as he left the pitch: "Chelsea fans have shown me respect for a couple of seconds but slaughtered me all day. What's important is the support from the Liverpool fans, they've been with me from day one."

they're classless, plastic bellends. laminated signs! imagine spending the week before your home match celebrating a championship win making laminated signs about another team's player? it's so far beyond pathetic there isn't a word for it.

It would take you a week to make that sign? Wow, you must be dumb!

StevieMe should know that the abuse he has had from Chelsea fans is due to his ability and torment he has caused them over the years. The guy got a standing ovation <deleted>, not many opposition players have EVER had a standing ovation away from home by rival fans.........

If you don't like banter you shouldn't debate football as it's 80% banter. Now go back to watching the History channel!

    Champions!!

a standing ovation from a bunch of pricks who'd just spent the entirety of their title-celebrating home match singing songs about him. if as a football fan you can't see the problem with that you're beyond help lad.

between that and you thinking football is "80% banter" you've obviously a bit of a lost cause really. still enjoy your club-produced plastic flags and laminated a4 signs.

..........and winning titles, annoying tetchy scousers, etc. To quote Keeagan, I will love it, absolutely love it.

Haters gonna hate. You enjoy Thursday night football.

  9. Congratulation to Chelsea football club. The whole season at the top of the table.clap2.gif

Spare a thought for Ramires. Reports saying he was taken to hospital with kidney problems - there is a vid with him totally covered on a stretcher being put in an ambulance - not nice.

  10. Why would we pay more than Madrid paid, he really hasn't set the world alight there,I am sure they would be happy to get their money back.

    cos u are m/u....cheesy.gif ,and are in sh#tters ditchcheesy.gif

Say something worth reading, or politely, go away.

    redrus

I dunno, I thought it was quite funy and apt. :-). Anyway, I see you won the possession points again! 5555555

  11. OG, do you really want Pogba? I know he is a talent and will improve us, but I really want us to give some of the youth a chance. Our youth set up has been a force for a couple of years now and some may flourish in the first team. They may not be the finished article yet, but think about how Kane was viewed at Spurs this time last year.

Ideally I would like 2 or 3 players being given reasonable playing time next season to see how they adapt. Bamford should be given a run in the cups and some pl games,

  12. Oscar seems to have flashes of form, then disappears for a couple of months. I would have much rather we kept Mata.

Without looking at the stats, it seems our attacking midfield is the most revolved door and less settled in our squad. Mata, DeBruyne, Schurrle, Cauldron (or whatever his name is) Oscar, Ramires, Willian, Sahah. Does anyone know our best 3. Only Hazard is the obvious must have.

I'm hoping that once we have won the league some pressure will be off the squad and next year we move to a more attacking style. Although I do think this seasons team have been given some undeserved flak. Only City have scored more than us and at times we have played wonderful football. The boring tag has gone into overdrive lately, but we have only had a 37 year old striker in the team. With the coffee man we are much more attackiing.

  13. Typical Mourinho quote tonight "We had United in our pocket" Really? the game could have easily been a draw or a win for United but it wasn't to be.

Rooney should have done better with his attempt and Falcao hit the post...a game of fine margins

No complaints from United but the arrogant little man just can't control his mouth, normal service is resumed.

Hello! Earth calling Sparkles. Come in Sparkles! United were toothless yesterday and LVG played in to Mourinho's hands. Take Fellaini out of the game and utd are left with very little. Chelsea have played some dire football the last few months, but yesterday we were in control because you guys were not threatening with possession - clueless some might say.

As for no complaints from United, go and watch HGV's interview on the beeb.

  14. S-st-st-st-stuttering to the title!

Really, honestly does Mourinho have to be so rigid and inflexible in his tactics that he plays the same side and same tactics week in week out? Does that not-so-special one really have to put an injured/half fit player on the bench against a run of the mill opposition?

Bigger fish to fry in a fortnights time with back to back games against United and Arsenal, Liverpool shortly after too. I defo saved Costa for those matches.

Anyway here's hoping United and City cancel each other out next week and both do us a favour by denting both their title chances!

On the positive side, still grinding out the results even with below par performances against lesser teams. Still 8 to go 5 wins and a draw as it stands should do it.

Thats what he's doing Derek, grinding out the remainder of the season as the others falter. Can't blame him really but i'd rather not watch it tbh.

See what i mean. Grind away Jose and they will all slip up.

Chelsea have been playing rather dull football, but it is hardly Jose's fault. Many players playing below par - Oscar, Matic, Fabregas being the most obvious. Last weekends game was like a re-run of many previous years, just passing sideways in the final third.

If Chelsea can wrap up the title early, I'm hoping they will play much more expressive football without the pressure of the title.

  15. Wouldn't say it was because of no leader Rij, Walker switched off.

Disappointing to say the least. Had a lot of possession but didn't create enough. First half i thought we were the better side. Didn't deserve to go in 1-0 down.

    2nd goal killed us.

Young team, experience gained, Good job we have time to recuperate......oh 2 whole days then Swansea at home <deleted> angry.gif.pagespeed.ce.l3zkt7JShRzHMKd9L

yeah walker switched of for the second, on defending the free kic, first there was a whole line of the useless <deleted> who did precisely nish,,didn't zonal mark, didnt man to man, did absolutely jac shit, and then let the ball fall to terry, absolute shit defending. either it was there wasnt someone to man up and sort it on the pitch or potts fuced up in preperation and they didnt know what to do for free kics from that area,, either or, take your pic. but what they dd organize for it was basically wrong .

Can you explain how / when Walker switched off ? do you know what Zonal marking is ? your talking like Chelsea scored from half a dozen free kicks ! if someone hits a good corner in it's very difficult to defend no matter what system your using, the zonal marking did actually work as the first ball went to a Tottenham player and the second also just that the pace caught them both out and we unfortunate that it fell to Terry when it could have gone anywhere ! anyway speak to mjj as he's an expert on zonal marking laugh.png

    Oi!
