About Me

First visited Thailand April 2010 and fell in love with the place.

Originally from Scotland. Served in the UK military for 17 years (Marine Engineer, Submariner, Diver, Helo Pilot), ran my own businesses for 10 years then retired to West Africa.

Currently working as a Director in a Maritime Security company, teaching Emergency Management in the Oil & Gas industry and also working as a International Standards Organisation (ISO) consultant, authoring ISO-compliant Management Systems for large companies.
