I know I'm a bit late with this, but if you want some of the 'harder to find' Thai products, then give these a try:

Being from Aberdeen, I would prefer a traditional SCOTTISH sausage, but nevermind!
When I came back to Scotland after 3 years in LOS it was the first thing I ate. A good meaty sausage that isn't too fatty and the meat hasn't been minced up too much.
I've bought a thing for filling sausages and I'll have to get some sausage skins in LOS, but I can't wait to get started.
The hardest part is getting the seasoning right, and like you said, always use a coarse ground pork, fine grind just makes the sausage way to mushy like the economy ones in the supermarkets .
Here's a handy site for some hints and tips:

Good luck with your 1st attempt

Would a traditional English sausage really be that much of a hit??
Something very easy for me to set up over there, but have never really given it much thought.

I would definately be up for another p**s up erm meet up I mean.
I think I did mention on the day that there are a group I know from another board, not the one you mentioned wolf, that do regularly have occassional meets around the country, well London usually, I'm sure they would be prepared to come and help strengthen the numbers if required.
I wont be in Thailand this Xmas, so timing wont be a problem, but please be aware that due to the nature of my trade, I will be very busy plucking turkeys during the month of December , so either November or January would probably be my best option..

How about larger sized clothing, thats something I'm asked regularly about..

ok .. here you go, Farang Breakfast
But I think the vast majority of Brits care more whether she can make a good pot of tea...
Couldn't agree with you more
And on special occassions a nice fry up works wonders:
2 sausage
2 bacon
2 eggs
Fried bread (if he likes it, if not then toast)
Beans
Tomatoes
Mushrooms

Those that say they will go, go, those that dont, wont, I even made it after being called into work at 4.50am this morning .
It was a grand afternoon, and yes, the rain did lay off for us, well for most of the day that I can remember, and the sun even tried it's hardest later in the afternoon, just a shame about the bomb scare I guess .
It was real nice to meet Spee, Opothai, Wolf5370, Rinrada and of course Wolf's old man and kiddies, you've got a couple of little heart breakers there Wolf, so look after them mate..
It sure made a difference from the usual monotony of not doing a lot at all, and a few Chang's were shared by all .
Hope everybody made it home safe and sound, me, as usual, fell asleep on the train home and woke up in Milton Keynes and then had to wait to catch the next one back down.
Opothai, not sure where you ended up, but I do remember that I owe you a beer, I'll have to repay the honour some other time though I guess.
Take care all !!

How comes all the previous dates have been in October??
-
Hopefully for working 10 times harder than a Thai you are earning at least 10 times the average Thai salary though Purdy.
Whats the name of your resort by the way?
-
By the way, does anybody know the dates for this and next year, by any chance??
-
If they are real or fake, I still reckon it's got to be worth a visit...
Will most definately be on my list of todo's next time we are over
-
My wife will be staying at home with the kids now, so i'll just have to pop along with a few other thailophite friends and make do with a few beers.
