  1. Just a video showing direkt composite bonding, this is what I am looking for! 😁 Only a very skilled and experienced dentist can do this! To make it look so natural you must be like a sculptor! If you know a dentist in Pattaya or Bangkok that can perform this work of art... please let me know! 🙂
  2. Problem is that most street dogs in Thailand don´t have any owners! 😏
  3. I have been to Koh Mook back in the late 80s, and back then it had a predominantly muslim population and because of that no or very few dogs were allowed on the island as they are considered "unclean" by Islam! Nowadays most land has been bought up by buddhist mainland "investors", that has built hotels all over and brought their dogs with them and many has gone rouge and now roam "wild"! Koh Mook is a small island and the population of dogs is increasing, only answers are get the dogs off the island or cull them!
  4. Anyone know a good reputable cosmetic dentist/ place in Bangkok or Pattaya? Last few years my upper 6 front teeth have got a lot of chipped off pieces, as I´m getting older the enamel on my teeth gets thinner and the edges chips off easily! So, I am thinking of doing a make over next year in Bangkok or Pattaya. I have done some research and there seems to be 3 options of treatments: 1, Composite Bonding, quick and cheap, least intrusive as composite is used directly to fill in the chipped areas, though the filling might discolor after some time and short lifetime of about 2-3 years only, but it depends of the quality of the material used and the skills of the dentist. 2, Porcelain Veneers, more expensive and takes longer time as some molding is needed, most of the teeth is saved as the tooth only gets a new front facade, but longer lasting and more natural look. I think this method is mostly used with discolored or deformed teeth though? 3, Dental Crowns, the most intrusive as most of tooth is grind down and also takes a longer time as a new tooth/crown has to be made after a mold, but strongest and longest lasting with good natural look. I´m looking for a specialist Dentist that can do composite bonding and that has a good reputation with great credentials! Most cheap dental places in Thailand would probably do it if asked, but I am looking for a specialist in cosmetic dentistry with lots of experience. Maybe there are some dental clinics that specialize more on cosmetic dentistry? I know most dentists refuse to do composite bonding on chipped front teeth because the filling will not last long, but even if it only lasts 2-3 years it would still be worth it as it is so much cheaper and easier than the other options! Anyone that has done composite bonding or had porcelain veneers on front teeth in Bangkok or Pattaya? What was your experience? Plahgat
  5. I hope the maid at least can keep the cats! 😁
  6. A friend of mine disappeared on a trip to Vietnam many years ago, His family contacted Interpol and finally after more than a month police found him in a delirious state walking around in a park in Hong Kong! He claimed he had been drugged, kidnapped and scammed by some gang that had taken all his money and cards, that had threatened to kill his family if he didn´t give them money, somehow he finally managed to escape from his abducters and find refuge in the park. He was very uncoherent about what happened! He was in a pretty bad both mental and physical condition when found because he hadn´t eaten in a long time just drinking pondwater in the park that got him sick! He had to be flown back to Sweden by ambulanceflight. Today 20 years later he still mentally haven´t recovered from his ordeal and suffer from insomnia and nightmares! He can only work 4 hours a day, dependent on medicial drugs to manage every day.
  7. Yeah, I also traveled around Thailand and neighbouring countries back in the late 80s for 6-7 month at a time, and only means of contacting people back home was by mail that could take months to arrive, or collect call by an telecom operator but that was a bit expensive so I would only do that once every month or two! 😏 For relatives to contact me from abroad, their only way was to send mail to a Poste Restante box at a Post Office. In the digital era of today kids can´t even go to the toilet, without letting the world now about it! 🤣
  8. What ever happened to allowing 3 monh visafree entry to Thailand for EU citizens!? Been talks about it for years but still nothing? 🤨
  9. Direct all the surplus tourists to Myanmar, a beautiful neglected neighbouring country that needs every dollar they can get! 😏
  10. Because some years when the Blue berries and Lingon berries are plenty in the woods in Sweden they can make a profite, but as climate is unpredictable they will not know if it is going to be a good year or not until they arrive, so they still come! The ones who makes good money here are the Thai middle men who exploit their own people and charge extortionate sums so that the poor Eesarn farmers can go abroad to work!
  11. Why don´t they just implement the 90 days Visa free for EU citizens to Thailand, as they promised some time ago!
  12. Looks like here in Sweden right now! ????
  13. It used to be 90 days at arrival for Thailand as well, when I first came back in 1987! Would be very nice if they changed it back, as I usually stay 3 months, it would save a lot of hassle, money and time! ????
  14. A Monorail loop along Second Rd and Sukhumvit Rd had made more sense than this joke!
  15. I forgot to give back my room key once when I checked out of a hotel in Korat. Being a good man I later put the key in an envelope and sent it back to the hotel via mail thinking everything was ok! A year later I returned to the same hotel and the cleaningwoman immediately confronted me and accused me of not giving back the key, and said she was blamed for the loss and was fined 50 baht by the hotelmanagement, and demanded me to pay her back... which I did! ????
