  1. I'd like a good 'Build your own' burrito place like they have in the lower west states in America.

They usually serve other dishes, and you can sit inside, but service is walk through and fast.
In Pattaya I love Taco House, Taco Taco and Mike's Mexican. But they are more dine in, family style restaurants.

    For example

When I went to college this place was the best,

My favorite place in Las Vegas:

And one awesome one I found in Berlin:

two more that we don't have?? how about Hawaiian/Polynesian and a good Mongolian BBQ ?

  2. Hi,
Yes I bought the exact one in your second photo there with the sliced oranges.
I've had it for about a year and probably used it 20 times or so with different fruits and veggies.  I can't believe how well it works for the price I paid, and I've never had a problem with it.  I just wanted to experiment with it, thinking it was junk but if it worked for me I could buy a more expensive one later.  As said, I don't use it everyday but for what I need it is a great purchase.  My only complaint about it, is that it makes a big mess and is difficult to clean.

  3. I have a workshop full of tools and have used almost every brand I can find.

    Here is my two satang,

#1 best tools you can buy in Thailand = Milwaukee  (not mentioned on this thread yet, so I suggest you check them out)

    #2 Bosch

  4. My slow cooker is the only way I will cook beef brisket or beef shanks and they turn out so amazing.  I'll get a pan with oil super hot and brown both sides of the meat and then put it in with either soup stock or water, add a can of beer or some red wine and veg or potatoes.  Sometimes I use the meat in burritos or on sandwiches.

It also works great at parties, you can leave a cheese dip or chili or something in it and it will stay warm.

I never ever use it on high, only on low setting.

Thank you to those who suggested an air fryer.  I've never used one and now I'm going to give it a try.

  5. Two people have already mentioned the thermal compound inside the laptop.  I agree it makes a huge difference.

I have had two laptops with overheating problems recently.  The guy I took it to said he had to check where the heat was coming from, the CPU or the hard drive.  In one laptop I installed a much newer hard drive and the thing hardly gets warm now.  The other we just had the computer guy go through it and put new thermal compound and clean very well.

  6. I only have 2 amusing stories to share,  I haven't golfed in years.

1),  When I first came here I went golfing with a business owner sleaze bag and he told me if my caddy tickles the inside of my palm while handing me my club or ball it means she wants to go have a <deleted> in the bushes.  I laughed it off and then during the 18 holes this guy was all over the 4 caddies like he was in a gogo bar.  He was the one with tickle hands.  The girls mostly laughed it off too but he was 100% focused on trying to get any one of them to go for a romp in the weeds.  I wonder how often they have to put up with this.   I later shared this story with my wife and we both still give a tickle on the other's palm if we're feeling frisky, usually more as a joke, in funny situations.

2),  I was with a group and all three of them were off in the weeds looking for a ball behind the green.  I was on the green with all 4 caddies who had putters ready.  One caddie dropped the ball and one hand putted it at least 10 meters into the cup.  A second caddie dropped a ball and also one hand putted a very long putt right into the cup.  I looked at them like, <deleted>? and they simply said, "We're here everyday".

    Best,

  7. I don't think you're wasting your time in Pattaya.  I think most TV members just talk bad about Pattaya any chance they get.

I also don't think Global house or Thaiwatsadu are going to build anything for you.

Here are some suggestions for you,

Euro Design Furniture:  https://www.euro-design-furniture.com/en/  (probably on the higher end)
Shadow Maker:  https://www.shadowmakerasia.com/  (I know they specialize in another product, but they are very skilled, smart and do other projects)

    Sakkarin Furniture:  090-962-6706

    Alpha Design and Construction:  http://alphathai.com/

Lots of other good, smart, quality people and businesses in Pattaya.  Just have to get off the bar stool once in a while to find them.

Let us know how it goes.
