Have also the bigger problems as I are Swedish citizen, married in Thailand since 5 -6 year, and live with the same woman for 16 year.

Have NO 400 000 THB to deposite.

How in the hexx should I do this O visa applications in Sweden ?

Are retired with a LOW Swedish pension, as I have lived and working outside Sweden for more than 20 year.

Maybe now it,s time for Western countries to make the same problems for Thai citizen ????

It,s a shame of the The CORRUPTED Thai Govenments to do this and make it, harder for us, who care about our BELOVED family in Thailand!!!

TIME TO STOP TO ACCEPT ALL NEW REGULATIONS FROM THAI IMMIGRATION !

Thai record of incidents, read safety, are around the highest in western world.

As I can se on the pictures the aircraft, have just set down the front landing gear, maybee outside of the runway.

This should not be any bigger concern for a modern airliner.

Maybe the "passenger " try to get economy compensation, from Thai?

Lets wait and se if I are wrong, or when the investigation are ready.

Airbus Industry have send their own investigators, and will for sure, release the result, soon.

I am Swedish myself. In Sweden the penalty for this type of crime is only 5 years prison, maximum. Like this decision to scare another person, maybe. No excuse.

Let,s be realistic, there will not be any craches, for same " cracks " on the runway, but it have to be controlled, as the situations not get worther.All moder aircrraft, have landing gear.

The reasun the Concord crached were in fact aircraft parts, who falling of from an US registred aircraft ( unniticed )and this later were puncture one of the fuel / wing tank.

Don,t be afraid, for flying, specially to BKK, who in fact are one of the most modern airport.

Further, the waiting time for the immigration are now much shorter, and many times take only 10 to 15 minutes.

This short waiting time are fully accetable.

Reg. the other things, aorond the airport, this are another story.

It,s a real fact, that the new airport really don,t have calcylated the wheel pressure om bigger wide body aircrafts, as Airbus 380, and also the older 747,s.

Tried to "help " the airport with same real informations about the new 380, and the plane,s figures, but NO INTEREST FROM THE AIRPORT AUTHORITIES AT ALL..

Are also retired pilote,with more than 30 year flying on my back, and have still contact with Airbus Industries in Tolouse, and get these informations for soon 10 year, to give FOR FREE to Airport responsible persons, but " everybody knows all these figures and numbers (weight ) were the reply ".

It, s really impossible, if you don,t want to starving 3 days of week.

Spend at least 20 000 THB per months, for living, and I have own house and a Thai wife, but still these oney goes every months.

Further you need maybe medical treatments, who are expensive here.

I USA you can live cheap in a old caravan, but this are not allowed here in Thaland, if yo don,t have any friend who own land, you can park on.

If you have an friend who let you build a cheap Thai cottage, you can live cheap, long way outside turst area,s.

You must find a way to get better income, before take this step, for sure.

Than the Thai govenment don,t give you aO visa, as your income are to low, and this means you need to run outside Thailan avery months to renev your visa.

Think twice, my friend.

When will Thailand be little more up to date with gsm networks and licences ?

Thailand are still one of the MOST EXPENSIVE PARTS OF THE WORLD TO MAKE A PHONE CALL FROM, same with normal phone or gsm networks.

Don,t even mention the HIGH COST,to down load matter what,on any THAI gsm networks!
