Before the autopsy they always undress the body...
Normally here Forensics attend along with the Dr in suspicious events then again I recall there was nothing suspicious about this !

Joe said they were Glad bags until the video surfaced! Were the plastic bags still on the victim during the autopsy and the Dr happened to overlooked it?

The word 'love' is used often here. So in Thai culture, it certainly has a definition of some kind, but not 'romantic love'.
In Thailand, 3 driving forces at play all the time:
-Generate money
-Taking care and being taken care of.
-Saving face.
Perhaps taking care of someone while getting money for it, is how love is felt here.
If you did not provide a salary, as they call it, the 'taking care' was not fulfilled, so their kind of love can fade away quickly.
Totally agree ! even though I have a great wife here the bottom line seems to be money !

A no-no?
It is a criminal offence to torture, kill, extort . There is legislation outlawing such acts for civilians, and one would expect Police know something about the law.
It is not a "no no" is is ILLEGAL, even developmentally challenged people generally understand that.
This shines yet another light in a disgustingly dark place.
I am disgusted that so many supposedly law abiding people accept the "culture as tea money" with a shrug of the shoulders, thereby feeding this disgusting beast and keeping it alive.
Refuse and suffer the consequences ! criminal offence seems not when many are involved !

Someone will pay the ultimate price for this event be it the lawyer the one who acquired the tape or the suspected murderer one may happen in the near future the other may take years but something will happen be it for revenge or to keep someone from squealing ! accidents happen just like the poor victim !!!

It seemed quite low down for CCTV, I thought maybe a smartphone just stood up on a filing cabinet.
Was he so arrogant to do this in full view of a CCTV he would have known was there, recording everything he did?
you should look at NSWs highest awarded cop Roger Rogerson caught on cameras after killing a drug dealer sometimes they become over confident !https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=912382546158887

He deserves more then praise it took a lot of courage and risks to his own life he should be promoted to the top Thailand need more people like him and hopefully this will set an example to others in the future
I like your theory but if it is a case of jealousy they would be just placing another corrupt cop at the top !

He is being coached, supported and will be protected by the police chiefs, going off what my wife says having watched on Thai TV news.
The consensus amongst Thais seems to be he will walk at the end of the day..
Totally agree they had a few days to get their story together !

someone should explain what "bag and tag" means to this so called law enforcement officer
10 hours ago, seajae said:a lot of top cops and govt honchos will be sweating on this case as it has the abilty to expose many of them for their corrupt ways if it actually goes ahead so that how these people make all their extra money is out out in the open. With the video evidence there should be no way he can be found not guilty but as we all know the govt/police etc are all very corrupt so will go out of their way to make the charge dissapear, if this does happen the world will once again see Thailand for what it really is, a corruption paradise for the well connected. Getting bail after murdering someone should not even be possible but again we will see just how pathetic thai laws really are if they do allow him or the lackies that helped him to be released
They would have that sorted in the days before he handed himself in. Would not surprise me if he didn't hand someone a list of higher takers just in case anything happens to him !

I was absolutely astounded this morning when I asked my Mrs. ( An honest senior police officer ) if she had seen the video of the murder and that I said that all involved get the death penalty and the Dr. a life sentence. Her response was virtually that she found it kind of an acceptable practice because it happens in many police forces ! It appears as most know extortion and corruption are so entrenched here that it is acceptable by their standards and any honest person who speaks up against such practices should well know their life is in danger a very sad fact ! It is like the 3 wise monkeys hear no evil speak no evil see no evil

The chief of the station in downtown Bangkok said his men were only using rubber bullets to prevent further trouble. He seemed to indicate that he had seen the video and thought that was a rubber bullet being fired. Thought Hmmmm ?
