  1. <snip>

Have a nice ANZAC day. I probably will not see you in Kanchanaburi.

No you will not. I'm currently back in Oz and will be attending Anzac Day memorial services at Tewantin, QLD.

Both of my uncles survived their service in the infantry with the British Army during WW11 in North Africa and Italy. I respect those who served and support the Oz government decision to send forces to Iraq to assist with countering IS.

What I do strongly disagree with is the blanket condemnation and vilification of all Muslims - let's leave it at that...

what about the blanket condemnation and vilification of non muslims as infidels, is that acceptable. Muslims and Islam are far less tolerant of others than we are of them. We accept them into our homes and they want to slaughter us and say we are not accepting and tolerant. I hate these bullshit excuses that when a Muslim slits the throat of a non muslim it is done in the name of peace, tolerance, harmony and god and when non muslims complain about it, it is a personal attack against Islam and racist.

How on earth can people stand back and support people like this, these animals wanted to kill innocent people in the name of the most evil cult called islam. Only the sickest people on the planet would support and apologise for this excrement.

  2. Well what a round. We had 7 with 9/9. Well done to AlexRRR, Ripstanley, Xangsambua, Carnegie Joe, Ron19, Will27 and Bookman. The overall winner this week is AlexRRR with the best margin. Well done.

    Nice one. Congrats alexrrr.

    Ripstanley still out in front!

It can be a burden being the weekly leader Rip. Each week knowing you have to get those tips spot on or else you could fall back into the tipping pack. Lot of pressure.

No pressure I know I will tumble down the list. Was a sprinter when I was a lot younger but never a long distance runner

if you were in my team and had doubts after 5 minutes into a game you would be pulled. Keep going young man, you're unstoppable.

  3. Paddy Mc Cartin, suppose to be a number 1 draft pick, what a useless piece of crap he is. You have guys like Newness, Leone and Sinclair who were taken well down the order have developed into better players than bloody paddy. Dump the useless piece of excrement

    Paddy who?

That's what the history books will probably say. He may have been big and stood out with the kids last year but he is not cut out for the elite level. He was soiling his pants and needed his mum last night, dropped everything and was just in the way of his team mates. The media is going to tear him apart as one of these number one picks who never made it.
    Another Watts?

I mean do anyone expect some kid to walk into a hmmmm down the ladder club and just be a superstar?

Saint Nicholas did and still making his mark.

This is reading like an Alfred Hitchcock novel.

Just catch the red shirts and get it over with.

I thought the offenders were from the south? Are all people who live outside Bangkok now red shirts or have the people from the north, South, East and west now joined forces to fight the elite of Bangkok.

The term redshirt once applied to those that supported a political party, it seems to apply to anyone who is caught or alleged to have committed any offence from littering to murder. The term offender has now been replaced with the term redshirt.

Dredging the bottom of the slops bucket aren't you. The results of an election don't indicate unanimous support in any region, and supporters of your political flavour are found all over Thailand.

No, not every offender is a redshirt. OTOH, yes, they do seem to have covered the range from littering to murder, fraud to election rigging, intimidation to public defecation, with the emphasis usually on the upper end of the scale

What's my political flavour? It certainly isn't the lowlife piece of excrement called Thaksin or his associates and it definately isn't the equally low piece call Prayuth, Suthep and thier band of garbage either.

Is there someone you do like?

Is it a requirement to pick someone or compulsory to choose a side on this forum, is freedom to abstain from siding from the numbnuts allowed? Thaksin is a wanted person, Uncle Too is well in his own words a funny guy, a clown. The court jester will never be it. I am sure there are many well educated people in Thailand who could become P.M but at the moment it is an exclusive club reserved for the rich, powerful and the military. No genuine true contender will get a chance.

No need to bother with evidence or proof or anything like that!

Just out of curiosity, how are you going to spin your way out of it if it turns out to be totally unconnected with the red shirts?

Yeah, yeah the evidence proved the driver killed Akeyuth as well!!!

If someone punched you in the face 20 times by a RS and then you put a blindfold on and you got punched in the face againWho would you think did it. The PDRC!

I personally hope it was a one off and is not the red shirts as we do not need the reds rising again to unleash their brand of terror on the peaceful majority. But then I hoped the Bangkok bombing was a one off as well. I am sure I will hope the next red shirt bombing will be a one off as well and the next and the next.Until they destabilize confidence in the government.

They said it themselves that if the economy fails it will gel the previous opposing political parties to unite and oppose the govt. This came from Jatuporn, HRW and Crisis group. All entities linked to red shirt groups with jatuporn being the leader of the group.

I also remember the PDRC blowing themselves up just to strenuously deny the fact the reds did that as well.

    Will history ever teach you...

Stab a ferkin sausage, he's back. I was kinda hoping that you'd gone on permanent duty to Ulan Bator or somewhere. Wherever it is you've been it didn't dull that imagination of yours. Have you considered writing childrens' books? Your ability to conjure up fairy stories could earn you a fortune. How about I start you off.... "Once upon a time, there was a red under my bed....."

No real argument to respond so do a personal attack on the writer. How clever.

I note chooka liked your personal attack, strange logic from one who claims to have been a senior police officer in Australia.

Hey, I have clicked like on some of your comments as well and every one is entitled to and opinion no matter what thier occupation. Opinions aren't reserved for garbage collectors and toilet cleaners.

  8. The ruling Junta won't drop these charges against the media as they will lose face and some of these Navy officials may be serving in Prayuth's cabinet. Dropping the charges against the aussie who merely repeated what another wrote would go a long way in restoring Thai/Australian relationship but it is all about face. Keeping a lid on the Junta's involvement in human trafficking is also important.

So thai-aussie relations are bad because of this case? Bs.
Who said that? I certainly didn't say they were bad because of this case. The Junta is not recognised by Australia but if they did the right thing in this case it may make Australia look at them a little differently.

    Eaaaasy there chooka.

The young lad was only told an hour before the game that he was playing as Riewoldt pulled out.

Not the best way of preparing and he did looked overawed. Still only 18 and most big guys tend to

    mature quite late.

Big Johnno Brown didn't get a stat in his debut and he turned out ok.

As an aside, first time I'm starting to have doubts about our coach Adam Simpson.

Picking Patrick McGinnity, Sam Butler and Josh hill instead of the new guys is worrying me.

Those guys, especially McGinnity are taking us nowhere and a few of them should've been

    delisted IMO.

jack lonie is also only 18 and was taken at pick 47 in last year's draft. He has played 3 games this year ranking amongst in the best on ground each week. He has been described as a ready made player in the mould of a young Lenny Hayes and one who slipped through to the saints. Mc Cartin is probably 5 or 6 years away from being an average player if he makes it. Sports media this morning were tearing Mc Cartin to shreads saying he was a dressed up, over rated prospect and not cut out for AFL. He could be a reasonable VFL player but no real chance of making a mark at elite level.
