I traveled for an extended period and didn't use any cannabis for four months and the only difference I noticed was that I'd remember my dreams. I didn't consider that a benefit. The most dangerous side effect of using cannabis are the laws.

still not great for lungs though

Police arrested an Australian man for allegedly stealing a motorcycle from a rental shop in Koh Samui and taking it on a joyride to Koh Pha Ngan in the southern province of Surat Thani.

The manager of the Fanta Group Car Rental Shop in Koh Samui, Jurairat Janrung, filed a complaint with Bor Phut Police Station on March 3, reporting the theft of a motocross motorcycle worth about 300,000 baht. The 32 year old Jurairat suspected the theft occurred on the night of March 2.

Officers checked security cameras and saw a man, later identified as 56 year old Helmul Ing Obritzberger, enter the rental shop and disappear. Another CCTV camera reportedly showed Obritzberger leaving the scene on a motorcycle.

Further investigation revealed that Obritzberger took the motorcycle to a ferry at Ban Bangrak Pier in Koh Samui, heading to Koh Pha Ngan. The Australian man then disappeared from police sight after arriving on the island.

Police tried to track down the motorcycle using its registration number, ปป 4493 but were unable to find it anywhere on the island.

After three weeks of searching, police found that Obritzberger had changed the registration plate of the motorcycle to 1 กว 1982, changed the colour of the wheels, and changed his clothes upon arrival at Koh Pha Ngan.

However, officers managed to identify him by his footwear. They located Obritzberger and apprehended him on Koh Pha Ngan at approximately 5pm on Tuesday, March 26.

Obritzberger is facing charges under Section 335 of the Criminal Law for committing theft during nighttime. The penalty for this offence ranges from one to five years of imprisonment and a fine ranging from 20,000 to 100,000 baht.

Although Obritzberger admitted that it was him captured in the security camera footage, he denied stealing the motorcycle and requested to engage his lawyer. However, the officers remained unconvinced and transported him to Koh Samui Court for temporary detention.

Police told MGR Online that the Australian man frequently visited Koh Pha Ngan but did not stay in hotels or resorts on the island. He was seen staying in a tent near a hotel or shopping mall.

Police added that Obritzberger previously rented motorbikes on the island and refused to pay fees, although no formal complaints had been made against him.

This video features a man sharing his experience quitting weed after smoking it for over 20 years. He says it has been the longest he has ever gone without smoking weed since he was 15 years old. He mentions that in the past he had quit for short periods to get a new job or for his health, but this time it felt different.

The man lists several benefits he has experienced since quitting weed. He says his mental health has improved significantly, especially his anxiety and depression. He explains that he used to self-medicate with weed but now realizes it was actually making his anxiety and depression worse. He also talks about the physical benefits such as improved lung function and increased stamina. He says his lungs feel like they are healing from the damage caused by smoking weed.

Another benefit he mentions is quitting weed has given him more money. He estimates that he was spending $300 to $400 a month on weed and says he feels silly about how much money he wasted. He also says that quitting weed has made him more productive and goal-oriented. He no longer feels like procrastinating and feels more focused throughout the day.

The speaker also talks about the negative impact weed had on his relationships. He says he was not as present with his wife and kids because he was總是 (zǒng shì) zoned out and high. He admits that weed made him moody and irritable and that he is a better husband and father now that he is sober.

The man concludes the video by acknowledging that weed can be helpful for some people medicinally, but  if someone feels like they are struggling with weed addiction and it is negatively impacting their life, they should try to quit. He says it took him many years to realize how bad weed was for him and encourages people who are thinking about quitting to give it a try.

We recently went on a holiday and I regrettably let my wife make the booking for a nights hotel stay. Details are vague but I think she searched for the hotel via facebook and found a fake page that imitated the actual hotel. Or maybe it was a copy of the actual website with a different url.

My wife chatted with them on fbook and they persuaded her to pay the full amount of the room to their bank account. After that they sent another message asking for key deposit She thought this was an odd request but transferred another 1500 baht.....

My wife called the police who said fill out an online form. An officer called her and made an appointment for my wife to go to the station. She did this and he didnt turn up saying he had an emergency. My wife has western personality now and was quite rude to him. He later called and said they have blocked the bank account but who knows...

Now we make another booking a few weeks later in a different location / hotel and they seem to have the same problem. But this hotel is professional enough to display a warning message of the problem: 'beware of fake websites and dont transfer any money to anyone etc'. They give the only bank account for the hotel and account name.

Just giving everyone the heads up on this as clearly its a problem in thailand at the moment. Do not chat with hotel facebook sites.

i have used ago here for many years never had a problem , try that is safe

So the the trick is to get them to dump you, or at least get them to like you less.

Here are the POTY Goat's tips to finish a relationship so you can move on to the next one. Please post other tips that have worked for you.

    -stop showering

    -stop brushing your teeth

-wear the same dirty clothes day after day

    -eat with your mouth open

    -dont flush the toilet

-borrow money from them and dont pay it back

    -complain endlessly

-tell them you don't like their parents

    -stop having sex with them

-flirt with everyone in front of them

    -harass them for anal constantly

-tell them you want a threesome with their friends

The Phuket provincial administration has instructed all district officers to check the backgrounds and conduct of foreigners living on the resort island, including the Swiss man who allegedly assaulted a female Thai doctor, to ascertain whether they are members of extortion gangs or involved in organised crime.

Phuket Deputy Governor Adul Chuthong said today that Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul ordered an investigation of foreign criminal gangs in Phuket, following the incident last week when the Swiss man, identified only as David, allegedly assaulted a female Thai doctor for allegedly trespassing on his property on Yamu Beach, when she sat the staircase of his rented seaside villa.

He said that foreigners found to be involved in illegal activities in Phuket will have their visas revoked, be blacklisted and then deported.

The Swiss national, who is facing assault charges filed against him by the doctor, is having his visa and registration with a foundation caring for elephants checked by officials.

The man’s visa is due to expire on March 13th and immigration officials are yet to decide whether to extend it. It will depend on the outcome of the alleged assault case.

I wrote a few weeks ago about my eye problems and Thailand's Top optician being unable to correct it with new glasses. I received some excellent advice amongst the usual irrelevant comments.

As a result of the excellent advice I attended a private hospital for a proper test, where I was told I had cataracts in both eyes and glaucoma in one. Surgery could be done on the cataracts for 25,000 a time. Okay. But I would need to stay overnight (extra charge of course but free food and dark glasses included :unsure:).

A two-minute Google check revealed every single entry saying that no overnight stay is required. USA, UK, Australia. Nowhere. A friend in Scotland had it done, with tea and biscuits after and then home. In New Zealand, a friend took his father to be seen, in and out in three hours including recovery time.

So I went to see a doctor who has a clinic in Kalasin and who works at the government hospital there. He confirmed the cataracts and said I didn't have glaucoma and my eye pressure was normal. You'd think a government hospital would charge less, but he wanted 20,000 plus an extra 5000 for him. And he also said I needed to stay overnight.

What makes cataract surgery so dangerous in Thailand that instead of going home straight away as you do in the rest of the world we have to stay in hospital overnight for observation, I wonder. I guess the answer has to begin with M or maybe B. It's the same thing. And it seems I'll have no alternative but to give in to the system.

Then I have to get a third opinion, somehow, on whether I have glaucoma or not.

try a different hospital, they wanted me to get hernia op n stay 3 days, i looked on net they got me another doc out in 2 hours, Mae fah luang good doctors and friendly staff

Thalang – An 18-year-old American man allegedly sexually assaulted a pregnant horse in Thalang.

The Thalang Police Department told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the incident from a stable keeper identified only as Mr. Chatchot, 50, from Paklok on Sunday (March 10th) of the incident. He told the police that at 4:00 P.M. that day he gave a routine health check of a 10-year-old female pregnant horse inside the stable in Soi Bang Sai, Paklok.

The condition of the horse alarmed the stable keeper who immediately recognised that the horse had suffered apparent sexual abuse based on her condition and stress levels. He checked CCTV footage in the stable and discovered to his shock a foreign man found in the stables.

The man is seen on CCTV appearing to sexually abuse the horse with his hand. The footage of the incident was posted online to various animal watchdog groups where it immediately went viral. The Phuket Express has decided not to share this footage however as it depicts animal sexual abuse and may upset many readers. The suspect was later identified by police only as Mr. Stephen, 18, an American national.

Further details on this developing story may be released as they are revealed by police.
