You can create another account. Before the UK system I created an account to have a look at the Chinese system but when I logged on to the UK system it appeared to be fixed on Beijing so I created a new account, just need to use another email.
Thanks Sandyf. I'll give that a go if the lock-out continues for the rest of the day.

Thanks Ubonjoe. I've used the question/message facility a couple of times, but there's been no response.
I'm looking at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, but so far not found any way of contacting them. I'll wait a while longer and see if the lock-out times out.

It's timed. Leave it alone for a few hours and try again. Also uses your email as its unique identifier so you can change that and start a new application.
"Having logged on and off the E-Visa website numerous times over the last week, in order to try to find a way to progress past step 3 without being greeted with the "Access is invalid, please try again" screen,"
Timing again. Have all the documents ready for upload. Server in Bangkok works on a peak flow system so if you are idle for too long it cuts you off. Works best around 0500 GMT as Europe still sleepy and USA heading for bed:-)
Thanks Roamer. Fifteen hours now and I'm still blocked. I'll give it a few hours more, and if no good I'll try using another email address.
Re timing, I've been downloading the Page 3 passport and picture jpg files, but have not seen any pass or fail notification. Maybe the jpegs are too small (143kB each), although they appear to be very clear on a pc monitor screen. When I get back into the site I'll try rescanning at a higher res. I have been saving the Step 3 page regularly though, so it's not been a time-out issue.

The system has locked you out on suspicion of attempting to hack the system. You need to contact Bangkok immigration via the link in the E visa website. Until you are unlocked you cannot use the application.
https://thaievisa.go.th/Home/#Thanks for your reply. The link at the bottom of the Immigration home page leads me to a 'Contact us' option. This however results in the browser (Chrome) 'Connecting...' message being displayed at the bottom left of the browser, and nothing else happening. Perhaps they switch their equipment off over the weekends?
If only they'd bring back the old postal visa system!

Having logged on and off the E-Visa website numerous times over the last week, in order to try to find a way to progress past step 3 without being greeted with the "Access is invalid, please try again" screen, I now find I'm greeted with "Information. Exceeded maximum number of applications (10 applications)" when attempting to log in. Can someone
help please? Messages left on the website have, so far, been ignored.

Not sure if this is relevant, but isn't the bridge wider in this part of the world in order to accommodate the broader noses? Not a good fit for western noses.
I get my specs from Glasses Direct when I'm in the UK. Never had any problems, cheap, fast postal service, and the quality is good.

I've had a Big C one for several years, but have replaced the awful quality battery with two Ni-Mh AAAs, mounted in a two-cell holder which fits neatly into the handle. You need to be handy at soldering to do this though. The charging current is only a few mA, so you need to leave the swatter permanently plugged into the mains when not in use.

No problem unless you set up home right next to a base antenna.
If you've got a dual-band router at home, you're already living in a 5GHz microwave field, and if you can see ships at sea, you're likely being blasted with 10GHz narrow pulses of 10kW or more from the radars. Nothing to worry about.

If you go for an early morning stroll you might be lucky enough to glimpse the cute little nocturnal furry creatures (brownus ratus) native to the area, as that scurry about the discarded waste on the beach.

They need to gather the villagers together and get them to raise their hands towards the lights. As the ancient Chinese proverb says.... "Many hands make light work".

I've changed local currency to sterling at various international airports in the Far East (but not in Thailand) . The money exchanges appear to hold sizeable amounts, but the exchange rate might not be the best. Should be good as a last resort though.

There's one of these crossings in front of the Beach Road police station. If they got it working and imposed a 1,000 baht fine to everyone going through on red, the BIB could make a fortune, without having to wander from their doorstep. Easy money.

I'm sure more people would support this if there were alternative places on or near the beaches that provided seating in the shade, Unfortunately there are not. You've either got to stay indoors, or be spit-roasted on the beach on Wednesdays.

Here are few photos taken on Pattaya coastal footpath in 2011. The cables protruding from the ground (which had powered the lights, which had corroded and been removed) were presumably live, as power was being tapped by the beach vendors, as shown in one of the photos.
After receiving a shock from an electric shower, I now always carry a neon screwdriver in my luggage, and check all hotel room electrical appliances.

A second opinion regarding this prediction should be sought from the KL airport juju man who predicted that MH370 was either in the air or had landed somewhere. As far as I can recall, that was two or three days after the plane went missing. Amazingly, he was 100% correct.

Hmmm... what do we have here? High-vacuum vessel with Edwards pirani and penning gauges attached, quadrupole, analysing/ion trap magnet, particle source, hV psu. There's enough info there for me to replicate the design and make a fortune. It will make the perfect match for my perpetual motion ion generator.

Try booking a flight BKK - LHR one way. The cost can be almost the same a a return flight, and in some cases more expensive. Totally illogical.

All visas now have to be given the ok by the Thai embassy in London, which adds to the delay in processing. My suggestion would be to email the Honorary Consul in Hull. He has been responsive and helpful with regard to a visa issue I have had recently. His email address is:
***EDIT: email removed per forum rues as this can lead to spamming of the email address***

How can i get to this promos?
Here is their website. I have seen the place - I remember the "Modern" look , but forget where on Second Road.
Good Luck.
It's at the top of Soi 4, opposite the International Hospital, and on the other side of 2nd Road from Big C. Judging from the outside, and also by the speed it went up, the soundproofing between rooms isn't likely to be much good.

Digital tv a revolution? No way. The only 'advantage' it offers over analogue is that more channels of rubbish can be squeezed into a given bandwidth. Radio going digital is even more absurd. All fm radios, including those built into phones, mp3 players and most vehicles, will stop working, and, if a similar system to that used in the UK is adopted, sound quality will be inferior to fm if you're listening on half decent audio equipment.

Many other Thai consulates will offer the same service as Hull in your situation. No need to apply in the UK.
Most do offer mail service also, but check the time it will take to get the passport returned.
Many thanks to those who replied. I now understand the options available to me.
Regards to all !

Do you want to stay permanently in Thailand or not?
If you are here only for a long holiday, what you can do is get a re-entry permit at an immigration office. A re-entry permit costs 1,000 baht and you will need to fill out a form and give a passport size photo. Maybe also a copy of your arrival card and passport.
When you return you fill in the number of your re-entry permit and immigration will stamp you in until March 24th.
Note that you can apply for a free tourist visa in Hull by mail. This would give you 60 days when you return to Thailand.
If you are planning to stay long time you can apply for a one year extension of stay right now, together with a r-entry permit, if you can show 800,000 in a bank account in Thailand, an income of 65,000 a month with a letter from your embassy or a combination of money in the bank and yearly income totaling 800,000.
New to this site, not sure my reply's going to work!
Mario2008, many thanks for your reply. No, I don't intend staying in Thailand permanently. For the past four years I've come here to escape the worst of the UK winters.
My best bet would appear to be obtaining a 60-day tourist visa by mail from Hull, but I'm not going to be going to the UK, so that could be a problem as they'd presumably want my passport.
No bank account in Thailand, so the long-stay option is out.
I'm in Pattaya, where there's an immigration office, so the re-entry permit seems the way to go, although I'd prefer an extension beyond the 24th March.
Thanks again Mario2008

62 yr old from UK. A question which is probably asked frequently, although I can't find an answer to it on the forum.I entered Thailand on 25th December with a single-entry O visa, obtained from Hull, and was granted entry until March 24th. However, I now need to make an unexpected trip to Europe (not including UK), of about one week's duration. Presumably I will only be granted a 30 day stay when I return to Thailand. Is there any way I can extend this up to my original planned departure date of 20th March? Border run maybe? It will not be possible for me to acquire another visa while I am in Europe.

Sunday morning here in the UK and I'm still locked out.
There has been a development though. On the Dash Board page there is a link to an Applicant's photo quality checking tool, which I'd not noticed before. Both my portrait scan and passport scan were not recognised by this software, with the message Support jpg & jpeg & pdf only. My scans were both JPG, and after replacing these extensions with the lower case jpg, both files were recognised. C**p software! file extension case should not matter. Now the portrait scan is reported as a success. Wonderful. Problem with the passport scan though. The failure message says: The photograph quality does not meet the ICAO standard. [Fail facial dynamic range] [Fail background type]. I've tried increasing the contrast of the scan, but this just generates a different set of failures. I'll be applying for the visa under a different address, but will need to get over the passport scan problem first. A scan of a passport will never be good quality, as the bio page is coated with a plastic film. And as for the background type fail message, it would appear the this software in inappropriate for this application.
Surely someone must have come across this and the jpg/JPG issue before?
