Hello, I arrived to Thailand on December the 10th, just with my passport, (no tourist visas...I hold Spanish passport), I had 30 days and also I extended another 30 days at Jomtien immigration office. My current visa expires on February the 7th. My question is: How can I extend at least another 60 days? as I want to stay here more time. I am reading the forum but I don't find the answer.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you ubonjoe. ????

Thanks for your reply ubonjoe. Well, I left Thailand 3 years and a half ago and I just came once last year and stayed for 20 days. So, in the last 3 years and a half I just stayed there for 20 days. That almost assure me a 2nd 30 days extension, right?

Hello. I’m going again there for 4 months. I hold Spanish passport. What I want to do is to arrive by plane (that gives me 30 days, 1st month) and have a 30 days extension (another 30 days, 2nd month). So, what I want to know is that if I fly out of Thailand after these 2 months and come back again (30 more days, 3rd month ), will I have any problem to extend again for another 30 days (4th month)?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Have you flown out to KL yet?
If not, you can go to the immigration office to pay 1,900B to extend
your visa for 1 week.
Yes, we tried it, but immigration said it was not possible no extend it.
The problem arised because "the paperwork person" did his job wrong and all was delayed. No chance to apply for a new NON B in KL as the required documents were not ready yet.

Ok the problem is solved. I go to KL
-
No, I am not working yet, so this is not a problem. The problem is the overstay thing. If work permit can not be provided with the expired NON B I can leave tomorrow to KL and get a tourist visa and start the process again.
So the thing I need to know if it is possible to get the wp.

The "paperwork" person is part of the thai staff of The School and I am not sure about his Knowledge. He said that the immigration office said that to him but I have doubts about it.

Hello, I need to know if it is possible to obtain the work permit with an expired NON B visa. The situation is like this. It is a Work permit to teach in one School, All paperwork was done in the right way, but a little issue arised and delayed the process.
The NON B expires tomorrow the 19th but the person who is taking care of the paperwork says that this is not a problem as the paperwork will be ready for Friday the 23th. He says that the 4 days overstay must be paid and the teaching license and work permit will be issued without any problem.
Can anybody tell me if this information is correct?
Thanks in advance.

Ok thanks again, They say it is necessary. Will talk to them again then.

Thanks ubonjoe, yes I understand there is no time for the WP, but why do I need to get a tourist visa? They can provide me the papers for my new Non B, then I will come back with the new non B and 3 months ahead.

Hello. I´d like to know what do I exactly have to do in my situation:
Almost 3 months ago I got a job as teacher and the school provided me all papers to get my Non B visa, so I got it in Laos (3 months validity). The thing is that when i came back the school refused to provide work permit, so I left the job.
Now, I found another job in another School, but I don´t know exactly how to act.
My current non B expires the 24th, they told me that they can not apply for a work permit with this non B, and also they told me that I can not apply for a new non B if I already have one from another school.
So, they told me that i have to go out of Thailand and get a tourist visa, then come back and with this new tourist visa, they can provide me the papers for my new Non B (so I have to leave Thailand again), then once I get back with this new non B, they can start the paperwork for my work permit.
My question is:
In necessary to do all of this? Is there a easier way to get my new non B and my work permit? I will appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

ok solved.... You must go out of Thailand.
Thanks

Most people have to go out for a non-b.
Also ubonjoe said :
"The problem with Bangkok is that that don't always do it in one trip. They often do a 15 day under consideration stamp before they do the visa/entry stamp. "
I'm bit confused :(

Hello, I have similar issue. I have just found a job and they are going to give me all the required papers to get my Non B. They told me to go to any embassy out of Thailand to get it. Now I'm on tourist visa which expires on August the 30th. I heard that it is possible to convert my tourist visa into a NON B without leaving Thailand.
Please, can anybody answer this?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry BigRick my English is not very good.
What I am saying is that the 180 days Tourist Visa are no longer available at Yangon Embassy. They provide you one (60 +30) and you can leave the country once and come back, but you still have just the 60 +30.

Hello. Who knows exactly what is going on at Yangon Embassy? I went last Thursday and last Friday (29th and 30th) and asked for a double tourist entry visa.
They told me that from now, the double entry tourist visa, DOESN'T allow you to stay 60 +30 days, then go out and come in again and have another 60 +30 days.
They told me that the double entry visa, just let you go out from Thailand once and come back using your remaining days.
I asked to the 3 different women on the counter, cause I was a bit shocked and I thought I didnt understand right what they told me. But the 3 of them told me the same thing.
Is this just at Yangon Embassy or what?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks again ubonjoe.
-
Another question.
Do you know if in Yangon are they going to ask me for all the in and out flight tickets when I apply for the double entry tourist visa?
-
ok, Thank you very much ubonjoe.
I'm landing at Yangon airport at 8am. I have to go to the hotel for the check in first (i need my pasport for it) and then going to the Thai embassy before 11am
So, I will be able to come back the 30th in a late flight.
Thanks again

Hello.
I am going to Yangon the next 29th to get a tourist visa. Anybody Know how long does it take?
The 29th is Thursday, and I'm arriving early in the morning, so if it only takes one day, I will be able to come back the 30th if not, I will have to stay there for the weekend.
Thanks in advance.

Understand. Thank you very much ubonjoe.

Hello. Is any problem to report your 90 days ED Visa in a different place that your school is? I mean, if you are studing in Chiang Mai, can you go to Phuket or Bangkok immigration office for the extension?
Thanks in advance.
