Hello. I am finishing my Student visa (expires in March). I've been doing the 90 days report since i started. The thing is that I am goint to Europe for 10 days at the end of this month. I will come back in 2 weeks with a tourist visa. The question is: Do I have to do something with my 90 days report and my current student visa? I mean, if I have to inform to the immigration office that I am leaving the country. Also do I have to say to the 90 days report officers something?
Or I just can leave the country and come back with my tourist visa doing nothing else?
Thanks in advance,

Ok, thanks. I heard this from many people who is working next to the Malaysian border here in Thailand. I discussed with them but they were so secure about it.
Anyway, thanks for your answers.

I heard many times that there are new rule for spanish people when you cross the border. If you arrive to Thailand by train bus or car now you have 30 days to stay in Thailand instead the 15 days.
Do anybody know something about it?

I'm spanish and managed 3 times with the Thai embassy in Madrid. They are really strict for everything, if you can make it go to Gibraltar.

Hello.
Can anybody inform me about if there is any problem to get the tourist visa now? I have just came back from the place i use to do the visa run (i use to go to Cambodia) and they told me they don't do tourist visa anymore. (they ask for statements, flight tickets, place where you live....
Is this only in Cambodia? or is in every thai embassies?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much lopburi3. A single tourist visa is the 2 months (+30 days ) tourist visa. Isn't it?Somebody told me that you can not stay in Thailand more than 180 days. If you are more than 180 days you have to leave the country for 3 months and then you will be able to come again for another 3 + 3 months. As I see he was wrong. Thanks again for your answer,Javi

Hello.
I have a doubt. I got in January in Spain a Tourist Visa for 2 months and I extended it for another month. Then in April I went back to Spain and I got another 2 months tourist visa. I am going to extend it now for another month.
My question is If I will have any problem taking in July my 3rd consecutive Tourist visa. I will do it in Cambodia or Laos or Myanmar...
Thanks in advance

If they will issue a 2 entry tourist visa you can stay almost six months as you outline. Further stay could be more tourist visas or ED visa for study or if have job/business B visa for that or if married to a Thai O visa for that.
There is no requirement to be out of country any period of time for visa/entry.
Thank you very much for your promptly reply lopbury3.
So, there's no limit to stay here inThailand? I mean, if after this 6 months I apply for another double entry tourist visa can I stay for another 6 months?
Thanks

Hello. There is one thing I have to ask.
Well, I arrived to Thailand on January the 18th with a 2 months tourist Visa, I extended the Visa for one month. So I have to leave before April the 18th.
I have to go back to Spain to do somehing and I will be back to Thailand about May the 15th.
Meanwhile I am in Spain I will go to the Thai embassy to get a new 2 months tourist Visa. The question is:
If I apply for a double entry tourist visa, can i do the next?:
I arrive, here, I stay for two months and I extend my visa for another one, 2 o 3 days before the extension finish I go out of the country and get back using mi double entry VISA, then I can be for another two months plus the extension
So, can I stay here for 6 months with a tourist double entry visa?
If this is afirmative, what can I do after these 6 months to stay here longer?
If I can only stay for 3 months with this new tourist visa, do I have to leave the country for a determinate period of time? or can I apply for a new one visa?
Thanks in advance,
Javi

Thank you very much Mario2008, but what exactly a double entry tourist visa is ? and if I start studies here and get the multiple non-immigrant visa, can I leave Thailand when I want and come back again when I want?
Thanks again,

Hello to all members of this forum.
I'm new in the forum and this is my first post, hope you solve my doubts.
I am Spanish (43 years old) My passport expires in 2019 and I have this Type of Visa:
Type of visa: Tourist
Category : TR
No. of entry :S
I entered to Thailand on January the 18th. I can be here 60 days and if I go to inmigration office I will be able to stay for 30 more days (please correct me if i am wrong), so, my questions are the next:
1) If I go back to Spain after these 3 months (leave Thailand about April 16th), can I come back in May again?
2) If I can come back, how long can I stay here?
3) How can I do it to stay for a year or more?
4) How can I get a Visa with multiple entries?
Now I am in Bangkok and I am looking for a Job in Thailand, I know it is hard and this will take me a long time.
And last question. I have to be in Spain in the first week of may (for 10 or 12 days) how can I stay here until the 1st or 2nd of may? Mi original visa expires on April 17th ( i think)
I am sorry for asking you so many questions,
Thanks in advance,
Javi
