I don't have tattoos.
Some things just cannot be improved.

Front loaders have a nasty habit of leaking.
Last year bought a 11 kilo LG hot/cold job from home pro for ~20K. I was very skeptical about spending that much on a plastic machine, (comfortable with whirlpool and GE sturdy metal bodies) but my wife loves it. Never a problem ... yet.
Don't ask me about functions, I've never touched it.

Can anybody identify the trend here?

I agree -- Americans should all shave their heads, get covered in tattoos, wear silly soccer shirts and act like idiots, become instant cheap-charlies and forsake soap.
Won't that be exciting?

Thais make the laws in Thailand.
They say weed is illegal and booze is OK.
Hem and haw all you like, but thems is the facts. Twist and contort away, but mj is a crime and booze ain't.
"Which is objectively more harmful? Obviously the alcoholic."
Obviously that's your opinion.
If the speed limit is 80 and you're caught doing 81, are you going to argue that 81 is no more dangerous than 80? That inexperienced drivers are more dangerous than speeding experts? That the cops ought be out catching bank robbers?
The law is what it is. If you want to smoke dope, I recommend a holiday in Amsterdam.

Who gets demonized here by the "moralists"?
The criminal.
One act is illegal. One isn't.

Couldn't they merely allow his nationality to make the obvious references?
Redundancy is a poor literary device.

Fair effort, C+
Got anything original?

I agree with the OP.
Thai males I've met are outwardly unfriendly and I have none as friends.

My guess it was the Issan tart that got 'im stitched up.
(Was she wearing that shirt at the airport?) Seems she forgot her whitening cream and likely wasn't throwing about enough na kha's to the exhultant immigration police.
That and calling the immigration officers <deleted> idiots.
Yeah, there's that, too.

Assuming soldiers will be operating the cameras ...
the cameras are equally adept at scanning poolside hotel patrons for items smuggled in their swimwear.

Uncultured savages.
You can seem him later slumped over a counter in a beer bar, drooling.
May or may not be wearing his Liverpool jersey.

... if they don't want to give back your deposit you can go to the police and they will help you getting it back.
Classic!

All this collusion among farang must surely infuriate the Thai immy boys.
The dumber we are the more lucrative their employment.
I suspect TV will be shut down in the coming weeks.

Quintessential Thai.
It's not about how far or accurately you hit the ball -- it's about how you look trying.

Ever tried to squeeze blood from a turnip?
The only hope of seeing anything is to screw the landlord before you get screwed.
If they're absolutely determined to jam you, pour quick-setting cement into every drain on your way out.
Don't forget to smile.

I would agree with the OP that Issan (my neighborhood, anyway) is full of openly gay men.
My wife's friends are genuinely concerned that their daughters will have to leave Issan to find decent husbands.
Quite sad, actually.

Tell the nice policeman you can't read or write -- and you'll require some assistance -- from a translation company -- sometime next week.
Surely that works for millions of Thais that don't want anything to do with the Royal Thai police. If you can come up with a way to make the cops think or do work, they're off like scalded dogs.
Tomartoh has it right. Thai cops do nothing unless there's something in it for them.

The red shirts were robbed -- plain and simply.
Abshit was installed, not elected. Despite their name, this group of Thais never claimed to be democratic.

Last year, UBC aired UFC every Friday night at 9 p.m.
They stopped a few months ago and only show old fights, sporadically, now.
-
No shortage of petty, shameless merchants with zero appreciation for customers.
I'm embarassed for them, actually.
-
Perthaps slower lines (but better at catching frauds, pervs and psychopaths) is an acceptable tradeoff.
-
Why just farangs?
Are they profiling the Burmese? The Chinese?
How about the burqua brigade? They collecting the goods on them too?

Twenty-eight is dam_n near a spinster in Thailand.
I'd give that one a pass.
