  1. 'Cheap lawyer'. A bit of an oxymoron, innit?
Not 'Reputable Lawyer'? No... that's what happens elsewhere... when the escrow is about 40,000THB.
Your 'cheap lawyer' will make you wait two days, never look at it, and say, "This is golden. Pay me", and a few
months/years later you will be heading home sans your 30 kilo glutæus maximus.
    Thass juss Khwai BID'ness baby!

  2. You might try getting a quantity of back fat. Put in the freezer until firm and dice finely or—better—run through a meat grinder. In a large pot boil in plain water, Set to simmer and mash it up occasionally. Let cool to room temp and add ice. This will harden the fat. Lift off the lard floating on top.

  3. If it doesn't come, I just take the copies again and go in the afternoon. One time last year they many of them in a drawer behind the counter unmailed, saying the post office wouldn't collect them. Once I went in with all the proofs of the EMS being delivered and they just pulled out another form for me to fill out, hence always taking the full complement of copies. When I get my renewal, I make four sets with the new extension stamp the next day and put it aside until the time and just drop in the expiring notification and send EMS.

  4. retirement visa alone is 65,000 baht month or a Thai Bank deposit of 800,000 baht... As you cannot live in Thailand without some sort of Visa, why is this never mentioned ?

I was just reading where Belize practically gives away permanent residency status.

But I would venture the only thing Belize would match is the malaria and dengue joy

    by comparison.

  5. Yes don't make one. The idea of the jig is to enable less skilled people to turn out adequate mitres.

Making one and getting the first angle cuts correct needs even more skill.

Have seen them in global house, wood ones, not high quality but ok for small mouldings.

Otherwise buy a simple bevel and mark with a sharp knife.....and then use a fine toothed saw.

Of course ceiling cove mitres needs the concaved mitre template

    Good luck

    did you mean 'compound miter'?
