Aren't race tyres only good for around 6 heat cycles? Be very difficult to get up to temp on the street and would lose temperature any time you stopped.

Give Graham at HST a call he's running days at Bira from the 26th Dec till the 3rd January. If you've never been to the track I can recommend starting with some instruction. You can find his number on the high side tours website.

Ducati Panigale 899, bought about 2 months ago.

Like it a lot better than the Z800 I had before. Great to finally get back on the road/track.

First one was as daveboo described, front end broke loose, I was way to hard on the front brake.

Yeah second was at Bira, tried to keep up with someone with a higher skill level,lol. Crashed on the fast right hander at the bottom of the hill and the bike went over the wall, lol.

Can't wait to get another bike, depressing going to trackdays to watch. Hopefully get my 899 within the next couple of months.

The driving range on Soi Siam Country club sells it. The ones with the hole and the ball return mechanism. No idea on price, sorry.

The driving range is about 100 meters before the crossroads. It's called 300 yards.

Much better to crash on the track than on the road. Bira is a great circuit for bikes, I've always had fun.
