In shopping centre kad suan kaew they have some tables on the third floor.
Also a lot of people have a table at home.
Where do you live?
-
We lived in Viang Doi in the past ... beautifull Moo Bahn with all different kind of houses and space.

Bamboo will be in 6m lengths so be aware and the two inch sections will cost you about 20/25bt.
Do you have also an idea of the prices for thicker bamboo? four or even eight inch?

I agree with alj6700.Palm Springs is, in my opinion, the most beautifull Moo Bahn in the city. For 40.000 you can even rent a nice house with private swimmingpool. We've a family with three kids too. After renting two, two too expensive properties (by agents). We've found, with the help of the local people, a big nice house for 10k.It's worth the time looking for the best place to live.

Learn how to code html and css. Much better and doing the same things. The learning curve is also easier once you understand it

OK, made a quick one this morning after going to a shop and buying 8" fan and 2 1/2 " elbow.
Found an old cheap cooler that I used.
Sitting here now enjoying some cool air blowing on me.
But, I want to get a solar panel as I have a 12V fan.
I want to use it for camping.
Will need a battery too I guess.
But, we love camping, it just gets too damn hot in Thailand much of the time.
Thanks for the thread.
My neighbors are already envious.
ps. bought a block of ice that perfectly fits the cooler for 20 baht.
Now, to see how long it lasts.
Where did you buy this fan?

Maybe an idea to remove this quantumcounters

My virus scanner did the same but blocked some code from their website.
I looked at the menu. The restaurant looks nice and I'll give it a try soon
If the owner reads this ... do something about the coding

I've also a BOI company and you don't need any Thai employees.
Also I've 3 work permits on the company. For sure ... the BOI will ask for your bussiness plan and you've to show them where you will stand in 3 years.
If you do all work correct, and by the law, there's no problem.
If you want to have my lawyers info please give me a PM.

I love the "Haussalami" from the Makro and think this is where you looked for.
Our kids love it!

Best place in town! Close to all you want!

Ask the old owner of SideSpin.
He has a Indian restaurant now in Promanada in the food-court!
Think he knows all the answers

I think one of the best spots to go to is Hansa minigolf. Just 30 Bht a child. Call them and they will set up something for the party: http://www.hansa-minigolf.com/
The owners don't mind if the kids walk over, around or whatever. Great place for kids and adults!

Missing MoW since we left Chiang Mai for Doi Saket

I suspect this is more about proletariat people coming to Thailand, who have absolutely no experience of managing domestic help.
A maid should be treated as an extended member of the family, who needs just as much leadership as one's children.
Well, yes on the second part, a lot of communication is necessary. But a member of an extended family.. no. They're an employee. And indeed employees need leadership, respect, training, consistency in how they're tasked, etc.
So children don't need respect, training, consistency in how they are tasked, etc? I treat my employees in the same way that I treat my family and friends. The only difference is that I pay them. You should try it!
We do the same with our Thai maid!
Last month we could celebrate her 1 year of good work.
Sometimes we take her, and her friend, with us to some restaurant.
We're not afraid of letting her babysit or watch the house for some days........we just trust her.
Yes.....she's part of the family

People that know....know...and people that don't...don't. I spoke with Mr. Robles and he did confirm to me this morning that things are moving along. He was at Payap University this morning giving a lecture. As was stated earlier...they are still moving forward with their plans.
I was over there too.....glad I didn't speak with him!.... Michael Jackson, all his talking about who he know's......never heard of this guy but I'm wondering, after I did read about it, if this will ever be realised!

The speeds that true offers are "true".
You just have to know if you can get cable internet in the region you're living!
-
Little Stars is also a good and nice place
-
I think the free internet zone in Kad San Keaw have higher speeds!
Or get yourself a 3G prepaid card. 3G upload speeds go over 1MB
-
As stated its dependent on where you will stay and what kind of hardware each ISP has in your area. only good advice I can offer is ask your neighbor. they are the only ones that can give you a good idea about the ISP's in your area.
I agree .. except that I am the ONLY person using 3bb on my node. That means no neighbors would have suggested it ... and that I basically have the node to myself .. VERY fast service.
True high speed internet goes till 100MB
I've got their 10 - 1 MB package. Very fast installation (next day) and allready two months a stable connection!
