just to put things into perspective.
And many many more caused by smoking cigarettes. More perspective.

The question should be WHY do they block it? It isn't costing them money if you listen as there is no way you are allowed to pay them for it. Same with IPTV. They spend countless millions producing programmes and then restrict who can watch it to a very small part of the world.
How long will it take tv companies to wake up to the fact that there is a potential expat audience of tens, maybe hundreds of millions who would happily pay for their service if it was a reasonable price. Instead, they completely ignore a market that could net them billions from expats who want to keep up with UK or German or American etc etc news and other stuff from back home. Now, the opportunity is very limited for them to legally do so. Seems to me the companies are locked into a 20th century mindset.
Totally agree. I would quite happily pay say £75 a year for BBC access. They are missing a huge potential income source.

Nothing more than having a letter from the embassy.
There is no official fee to have your stamps transferred.
Hi Ubon. I am getting my new UK Visa via a premium fast track online applcation during a brief visit to the UK. It is just a 30 minute visit to the Passport office in Durham. Which Embassy do I need the letter from?

What happens if you are getting a new passport because the old one is full, not about to expire? Do you simply go your your IO with both new and old passports and have the Extension and Re-entry Permit transferred to the new passport? Is any further documentation required? Is there a fee?

There's others too:
Drive slowly.
Be aware of the other vehicles around you.
Wear a good helmet.
Don't drink and drive.
The expat community as a %age is probably even worse than Thais for drink driving.
