  1. I need some IT help uploading a few web sites to a new server now that apple are no longer using mobile me. So Mac IT help from someone who can speak English would possible get me out of the deep hole that I have created.

    Any recommendations gratefully received

  2. Rather than buy several condo's why not investigate one family house with private pool.

There are many on the market at much reduced prices. There is a market for professionals

working on yearly contracts looking looking to rent a family home long term.

These people are more likely to look after your property.

Navy boys on a shore leave sexathon tend not to in my experience.

  3. My dislike is the assumption from the UK that if you live here it must only be for sex.

I hate that nudge nudge wink wink attitude I have even seen portrayed on national TV in the UK.

It is good for sex but there are also many other plusses to Thailand.

My ex wife will not let my son come here on holiday because of it's reputation here.

I have been in a steady healthy relationship with a Thai lady for three years.

There is plenty of prostitution in West London where my ex wife lives - you can check the small ads in the local paper.

I hate that holier than thou attitude.

  4. I have tried most on this topic but my vote would go to two places,

the first at the far end of soi 1 Jomtien, authentic Italian owned - wood pizza oven.

The second Drifters Cafe - a little shack on the beach beyond Jomtien. Great little place worth the journey.

    Forget Franchises.

  5. I tried once and the food was poor I am sorry to say. Inexpensive and comfortable but I can do better myself. Not worth the trip.

I suggest the new Maggs on Theppasit Road - 3 courses for 350 baht - knocks the spots off Strogonoff and the Ritz both in standard of cuisine, ambiance,

    value for money and service.

  6. I have the opposite of green fingers - bright red - and I have a large tropical garden.

Can anyone recommend a gardener with some english and some knowledge of plants.

Just one day a week would be enough.

    thanks in advance

  7. I would suggest some of the tailors behind Tuk.com where they make on the premises,

not ones where they send out to a factory and the fabric used is not necessarily the one you chose.

Safer to take your own fabric - there is a fabric shop by Tuk.com - I take the tailor with me to make sure I get the right amount

and take his or her opinion whether the fabric is suitable into account.

In my experience the tailors in Jomtien send everything out and you get what they want to give you - i.e. easy - not what you instruct.

  8. I hired a builder we had a contract, quite a big job he has disappeared with

a substantial amount of money. Any advice gratefully received.

    thanks in advance

  9. looking for talented freelance interior designer to assist with new restaurant design venture in Jomtien Beach. Any ideas or recommendations gratefully received. Thanks Andy

  10. My beloved old Krell Amplifier has died. I found someone in the US

who can send me a repair kit of capacitors and transistors from America but I would struggle to wire a plug.

Can anyone help or recommend a man who can please.

    Much appreciated.

  11. The following Thai electrician repaired my electric stove which had developed a short as well

as did some upgrading of my main electric/fuse box. Maybe he can help you?

    Mr Jaroon 081-862-5291

Thanks for the number I will give him a try

    Andy
