2 Thai Bank Accounts.
1 for small money, this has an ATM in my wallet.
1 for slightly bigger money, this has an ATM locked in my safe. Used to transfer money into the smaller personal account.
Neither are set up for internet banking.
All transactions are cash.
Proper money is kept well away from Thailand.
This country/region is a joke with regards to security, and just as bad with responsibility of such.

I have been told when i speak thai i have a thai accent from thais too. Work that one out.
A Thai telling someone what they want to hear. Amazing Thailand.
-
Good stuff.
Anyway to cook/marinade it so you don't even need a knife, it will come apart with your fork?
-
the only things I got from the story is that the OP is long-winded, confrontational, dishonest, and vengeful.....am I missing something here?
Many farang who come here are just that.
Unfortunately they haven't been fortunate enough to have had a Buddhist upbringing, like Thais. And are the inferior people due to it.
-
So if you're stuck with the standard Thai supermarkets and their Thai-French beef, which is the best piece to buy in order to marinate for 24 hours and stick on your bbq?

I used to live near a school and each morning all the parents with the kids on their bikes would line up at the redlight and at the first opportunity to drive through it they'd zoom through. Great example for the little ones I thought.
One copper used to arrive with one young kid on the back of his bike and a younger one spread across the gas tank. No helmets on them of course.
You just have to laugh at them, like Manuel in Fawlty Towers. It's a great and endlessly entertaining place to live when you have that attitude.

No driving education and a totally inadequate testing system are not exactly conducive to best driving practices.
Not fully no, but you can't deny they'd help..
I agree. If the price of passing without actually doing the test was reduced from 300b to 100b, drivers would be happier and less aggressive.
-
I'm not sure why you're becoming aggressive and repeatedly mentioning fights and arguments.
I'm simply pointing out the contradiction, and then the subsequent lie you made. No biggie.
-
Sure, it's still in my cache from last night.
To quote you:
If a person is refused a tourist visa in Vientiane due to having too many stickers in their passport, then a new passport will guarantee them a new visa.
And other posts promising a poster 100% success.
It just strikes me as an odd contradiction.

What a sad and pathetic story.
Visit a country where you cannot speak any of the language, then get upset and angry that a young uneducated waiter gets your order mixed up. Refuse to wait. Refuse to pay. Then lie to a large group of potential customers in order to cost them more business.
Some Westerners and their attitudes here are absolutely disgusting.
It is a pity that the staff didn't hear your blatant lies that were served to lose them business and money and have you charged with slander.

I don't think you are being paranoid but you can't do much other than cancel your cards.
But I don't think they would do it inside a shop like Tukom because of being recognized in security cameras .
Security Cameras.
A friend of my bike dealer had the security in his condo disconnect the cameras and then haul his bike (100k+ thb)onto a pick up before disappearing.
They him got due to the camera from the opposite condo.

My message was so people know not to stress you can get a double no problem as long as you are not running 4+ stamps.
This advice is just plain wrong. There has never been a hard and fast rule about when you will get a tourist visa and when you won't.
This is odd, from a poster who promises other posters that they'll be 100% certain to get a double-entry tourist visa.
You must be dreaming or looking for an argument. I've never promised anything of the sort.
I was just reading another one of these threads and you were promising a guy that he would definitely be given a double-entry 100%.

Obviously a 12 month Non-Immigrant visa is preferable to a tourist visa for anyone wanting to stay here indefinitely.
No, it's preferable for anyone wanting to stay here longer than 3 months.
Edit:
Sorry, 60 days.

how are they meant to learn how to drive well when they're not taught to do so, when Laws where the Road is concerned are just not simply enforced ??
Very true.
Looking to see if a truck or anything else is coming before pulling out is a difficult trick to learn.
Lucky it was taught to me because I simply would not have thought of it otherwise.
-
Is there any happier feeling than when you see that double entry for Thailand in your passport?
Well yes, when I see my 12 month Non-Imm visa.
Personally I think it's good to see a crack down on repeated Tourist Visas given in neighbouring countries.
99.9% of these people are obviously not tourists.
For some reason that I cannot fathom, many Westerners feel they have some sort of birth right to live here.

Probably better than her saying whencum.

btw you live in a perfect place for riding. Over to Tak and around the Burmese border mountains, or up around to the MHS loop, or North-West to Nan and Phrae etc, or over to Petchabun/Lomsak etc.
Could do a different one every weekend.
You lucky bastard.

fuel light comes on early. With 3 litres left I think. Should be good for about 80km or so.
Don't take much notice of fuel economy but think I get around 32kmpl if pottering around the place, and roughly worked it out to be 24kmpl when pinning it from Khon Kaen to Bangkok at an indicated 160kph.

I bought my CBR just before xmas last year. There were loads of check-points set up over xmas and New Years checking for drugs etc. I was stopped routinely as was everybody else (heavy check points, no chance to just blast through them). Showed them my Thai driver's license and they looked at the bike with admiration, not one mentioned the lack of plate in 5-6 different police check points, and there was never any money asked for.
That was central BKK.
I find that if you're calm and polite, have your Thai DL and be respectful, they'll be the same and wave you off as they tear the local's bikes apart.
Anyway, I wouldn't worry about it. I didn't (over the busiest part of the police's year when they're out in force) and nothing was ever said.
-
Bottom line is you can only help them so much.
I find laughing at them to be just as effective and far more fun.
It's like Fawlty Towers.
24/7.
Great!

Western concepts are difficult for them.
Look at them and electricity.
Give them a few more decades and they might learn how to do things better. Perhaps you could teach them how to do things more effectively and safer, they listen well and like being given advice.

Just looking at some of the pics from the last moto 3 race... they can really get those babies down low.

With out fail she always says to me "don't forget, take condom"! I tell her I don't need condom.
She says its OK "honey I want you be happy"
Tell her that you're taking them.... and that the monthly salary you give her will be a few thousand baht short as you want to be happy with a white skinned 20 yr old Sino-Thai.

Negative posting lads.... be kind, be Thai, tell everybody that they're perfect at everything.
Wonder which regional Thai these people have mastered, the numerous Isaan dialects, Northern Thai, Southern Thai, Central Thai, a dialect such as the drawn-out Suphanburi tongue etc etc.
