There are no malls, BigC, Big Tesco or Tops in this area.
There is a big c on Ratchadaphisek @ TCC MRT & a big c on Lad Phrao soi 9. Both of these have the usual fair of banks, hompro & office depo in the complexes. This location in right in between both Central Lad Phrao/Union Mall & Esplanade malls. Your making it sound like it's in the middle of no where, when actually all these places are within 1-2km

A bit harsh,
They were not informed/aware regarding the hazards associated with entering confined spaces. All confined space entries should be atmospherically tested before entering & then ongoing monitoring during the task.
H2S poisoning happens all over the world & it's unfortunate that these gents employers exposed them to this environment.

I have bar end mirrors on my bike (ER6N). This is the 3rd set of mirrors I have had on the bike since removing the stock mirrors & they are by far my favourite.
I agree they don't look good on sports bikes but defiantly suit naked type motos.
The bar ends I'm using simple flip back in when I split the traffic (bkk) then when I have some open road in front of me I simple flick either one or both mirrors back out.
Using a set of "CRG Lanesplitters" with the 7/8" bung adaptor.
Have a couple of sets of Rizoma mirrors in mint condition if anyone's interested PM me.

What about Central Lat Phrao, that's only a 12 min taxi journey via the motorway. Union mall is also right next door & if you get sick of the mall for 5 hours walk over to chatuchuk (JJ - Rot Fai Park).

Don't assume that a new compressor will rectify the issue, that would be the last component that I would be looking at even if you are getting it for a good price 2nd hand. The only reason you would change the compressor was if it became ceased, if the valve plates developed a fault or if the refrigerant system was that compromised (oil contamination) that a new compressor was required.
For some reason the compressor clutch is disengaging after a certain period of time, do not listen to the "experts" who tell you that it is low on refrigerant, they are sealed systems & you won't get a leak unless the system is not being used frequently. This is a rarity in a warmer climates like Thailand as the air con is always used which the intern lubricates the rear main seal on the compressor ( the most common area for vehicle a/c leaks).
Don't take the mist as a indication of the evaporator freezing, jump on any train or plane and have a look when they first turn the a/c on, same thing a mist. This is due to the cooler air coming of the Evan coil, app 9-12 degrees mixing with the ambient air which could be anywhere from 25 degrees upward causing a condensate vapor which will be visible to the eye.
Since you are using it for some period of time then it is blowing cold air the compressor clutch is disengaging, I would be looking more towards a high pressure problem. The compressor clutch is cutting out due the high pressure switch becoming open circuit. A easy fix for you, check that your condenser coil is clean, if not wash thoroughly with a hose. Also check that your condenser fans are working, if not this will cause the high pressure switch to open after a period of time.
Hope this helps, if you have any more questions post again. I personally do not trust a lot of the mechanics here in thailand as they are always very quick to jump on the ...low gas bandwagon.

Also had his own tv show on Thai tv for a while there, "wink wink English" but I haven't seen it on recently.
Think he may also be a member of this forum as I thought I saw some posts for him.

Try bkkgraff.com
They currently have a pop up shop selling tins & caps @ Bangkok art & culture centre just across from National stadium BTS. Drop by the shop and they should be able to point your in the right direction.

You have lived here two and a half years and you want to live in crowded/overpriced tourist zones...??
Every time I have relocated it has been further and further out towards the edges of BKK.

Flew out the other day with Air Asia from DM, didn't have any problems with online check in or printing a boarding pass. They do have the self service counters at the airport where you can print your boarding pass out if you so desire.

A couple of full side shots as requested of the "thermos" radiator overflow mod. Also just did a number plate relocation mod like seen on "NormanW" er6n. Just a little different as I didn't drill the mounting screws directly through the plate itself, just used the existing studs & bent up a couple of small brackets.

I had a friend who had two full sleeves done. The work was high quality & the artist had a clean studio in which he worked out of. I have heard of many other good reviews of this gent as well. Try a google search of "mr x dragon tattoo" as i believe he moved since my mate got his done but he is still in Pattaya somewhere.

I'm in the process of making my bike a more naked ...naked if that makes sense. I removed the front fairings and hated the moulded plastic coolant overflow so did a bit of searching and found this neat little mod on a street fighter forum.
I removed the plastic moulded tank and replaced it with a stainless water bottle. Cost me 200B from Robinson's.
Just used a drill press to bore the two holes in the top and cleaned them up with a file. Sourced a spacer and 50mm pipe clamp from a local hardware shop.
Still have to do a little work to the frame and a good clean & I think it will look pretty good.
Photo taken from the iPad so please excuse the picture quality.

Leaving from where in BKK??
-
I have purchased & sold a number of big bikes without a work permit as I do not work in Thailand. These transactions were also undertaken on a 30 day tourist visa as I'm only at home (BKK) for 28 days before going back to work for another 28.
It is a bit of stuffing around but it can be done.
The criteria/requirements that I used are as follows:
Passport with entry visa
Thai drivers & bike license
Copy of condo lease agreement
Letter of residency/occupancy in Thailand for your countries embassy.
The last requirement can sometimes be obtained from your local police station depending on how the desk clerk is feeling on that day but in most cases you will get the standard response "mai dai". I took all the above paperwork to my embassy and basically filled out a stat dec stating that I lived in Thailand and they put their stamp of approval on it.
The DLT were happy with all the documents I produced for the last two times I have dealt with them.
Hope this provides some assistance.

Is anybody running Renthal 7/8" street fighter bars on their ER6N?
If so, are you happy with them.
I have search the er6n forum but cannot find a local supplier who sells the street fighters. Many sell renthals but not the model I'm after. Anybody know of any local suppliers.
