  1. A couple of full side shots as requested of the "thermos" radiator overflow mod. Also just did a number plate relocation mod like seen on "NormanW" er6n. Just a little different as I didn't drill the mounting screws directly through the plate itself, just used the existing studs & bent up a couple of small brackets.

  2. I had a friend who had two full sleeves done. The work was high quality & the artist had a clean studio in which he worked out of. I have heard of many other good reviews of this gent as well. Try a google search of "mr x dragon tattoo" as i believe he moved since my mate got his done but he is still in Pattaya somewhere.

  3. I'm in the process of making my bike a more naked ...naked if that makes sense. I removed the front fairings and hated the moulded plastic coolant overflow so did a bit of searching and found this neat little mod on a street fighter forum.

I removed the plastic moulded tank and replaced it with a stainless water bottle. Cost me 200B from Robinson's.

Just used a drill press to bore the two holes in the top and cleaned them up with a file. Sourced a spacer and 50mm pipe clamp from a local hardware shop.

Still have to do a little work to the frame and a good clean & I think it will look pretty good.

Photo taken from the iPad so please excuse the picture quality.

  4. I have purchased & sold a number of big bikes without a work permit as I do not work in Thailand. These transactions were also undertaken on a 30 day tourist visa as I'm only at home (BKK) for 28 days before going back to work for another 28.

It is a bit of stuffing around but it can be done.

The criteria/requirements that I used are as follows:

    Passport with entry visa

    Thai drivers & bike license

    Copy of condo lease agreement

Letter of residency/occupancy in Thailand for your countries embassy.

The last requirement can sometimes be obtained from your local police station depending on how the desk clerk is feeling on that day but in most cases you will get the standard response "mai dai". I took all the above paperwork to my embassy and basically filled out a stat dec stating that I lived in Thailand and they put their stamp of approval on it.

The DLT were happy with all the documents I produced for the last two times I have dealt with them.

    Hope this provides some assistance.

  5. Get in touch with API, ask if they have a contact or a recommendation for someone who can tune the API ECU for you in Phuket. If they do get them to send you the ECU, you can fit it very easily then take it to their contact to tune it with the software that API would also send you.

For the big bore kit, this can be obtained from Kawa parts division on Rama 9 BKK. Also the Boss 175 air box intake can be sourced from then. They will ship both, I was going to put the big bore kit on my tracker then i sold it for a er6n. I think they cost about 21,000...¿??.

Jump on the d-tracker page on Facebook or the Thailand tracker forum. The guys on their are a wealth of knowledge and will be able to help you out with Mech/Techs in Phuket that can fit n tune all of the kit you receive from Bkk.

If you have any more questions or want the links to the forum or pages drop me a pm.

    Best of luck

  6. The place in RCA is 8080 Cafe, it's located in block D of RCA which is your main block just down from Route/Slim/Flex.

Take a look at "mee classic" shop in Khorat. You can find them on Facebook or just google them. They do some sweet builds from choppers to bobbers to cafe racers.

8080 is a good place to make some contacts & have some of your questions answered.

  7. Has anyone taken delivery of their new ford focus 2.0L ??

If so what are your first thoughts, I can only find a couple of reviews of the Thailand manufactured model. Both reviews are very positive but I wanted to hear from some new owners.

I'm interested in the 4dr 2.0L Titanium, but would like to hear opinions on any of the 2.0L range.

    Thanks in advance

  8. I didn't particularly like the Z1000 when I first laid eyes on it but after seeing the pics from RealMotor Sports today who just received their new bikes it does spark some interest again.

I like the black Matt finish.

What does the TV world think of the 2013 model??

  9. Carn the Eagles!! A all west grandy would be nice but I think the crows will be too strong for freo.

Collingwood have extra motivation this week with the accidental death of their former teammate now port player in vegas.

There are a number of threads on here in regards to AFL telecasts in pubs. Use the search function.

The Office in suk 31 is a good place to start, visit their website they have broadcast times. You can find it using a great tool called GOOGLE.

I do recall a couple of years back the aussie pub on suk 11 had a big function for grand final day. Tickets had to be purchased but it included food n drinks.
