  1. Thanks once again @DrJack54 I called in this afternoon. They said no problem converting family to retirement, 12,500 baht, can do up to 7 days before, they keep your passport for 3 days.
  2. Many thanks Jack. Will go and talk to Maneerat.
  3. I'm in Pattaya. I was thinking it might be cheaper to convert to retirement than renew the family visa.
  4. My current 1 year extension based of family expires on February 5. Using an agent, is it expensive to convert it to an extension based on retirement?
  5. It certainly does help, ravip. Thank you very much
  6. Ok, noted, and thanks again.
  7. Thanks Treetops, I will tell them to request it.
  8. That's good to know. Many thanks.
  9. Thanks Stocky. Just waiting for reply from Trailfinders .....
  10. I tried that, using the Trailfinders reference No. On the Qatar site it asks for e-ticket number but I can't find anything other than the Trailfinders reference.
  11. My parents depart from Bangkok to the UK on February 29. Their flight/s is a BA flight with Qatar Airways. They would like to sit together. The question is - how can they select seats? They booked the flights with Trailfinders in Manchester, whose only helpful advice was - you can do this with the airline.
  12. My parents need to go to the Jomtien immigration office to extend their stay by 30 days. They each have a single entry 60 day tourist visa issued online from the UK. They are staying with us, house is in my wife's name, I filed a TM30 for them online. I assume they will need to show: copy passport id page copy of visa and entry stamp passport photo proof of TM30 flight tickets Is there anything else that might be required, such as my wife's house book?, I read on an expat club info page that a copy of the email notifying confirmation of a tourist visa approval is also required?. Many thanks in advance.
  13. Thank you very much gentlemen, and thanks Dr Jack for the tip.
  14. I'm on a 1 year dependency extension, aquired at Jomtien, permitted to stay until February 2024, and have multi-reentry permit. I left the country late July and returned late August. Before leaving the country my next 90 day report was due early October. My question is: is my next 90 day report now from the date I reentered the country?
  15. Whenever Joe answered your question it so assuring, you just knew it was right. So thankful for all Joe's advice over the years. What a gentleman. R.I.P Joe....
