  1. speaking of spending , any one tell me what 2 fillings and deep clean with a BKK dentist would cost, any recommendations would be a great help.

Fillings start at 400 baht, depending on the size and materials used.

If you get the dentist to do the fillings the clean will be done for free.

Directly opposite Big C in On Nut are two dentists who offer these prices.

A clean is about 200 baht.

thank you will have a look.

"Smile" dentist in Seacon square, speaks English nice bloke, dont go to one of those franchise places though.

They (Smile) are right next to the ice rink in Seacon

  4. Because you have 2 posts and 95% of posts of this nature are by people with a few posts.

Did you not research Thailand via forums before you lived visited there?

I swear this is not a troll - and please tell me just if you think I am being stupid?

I did yes, I've been reading this forum for years occasionally but haven't made an account until today.

I mean I've understood that the general opinion is that if you meet them in a bar they're just after your money.. but I am genuinely wondering if she is chatting to me purely to try and get money off me later on?

  5. To Thait I totally agree with your comment and 1 interesting part that caught my attention which I look foward to seeing how this year plays out since the increase wage increase in all provinces

In the first phase of minimum wage increases in seven provinces in April-December last year, the Social Security Office paid Bt1.18 billion compensation to 243,141 laid-off workers. <--- I had to re-look at that number 2 times. Would like to know how they found they figure. If that many people where laid-off and that was from just 7 provinces, then this year I wonder...

How many people will be laid off when all the remaining provinces get the new increase??

Can u help,? I have a friend who cannot work due to illness has had job in the past , is there any assistance,

either medical, or social from any gov dept , what are the choices for people like this in Thailand?.

    any help would be appreciated....

    Jo,,
