  1. "Don't forget to tell Sid !", for those who remember the advertising-campaign ? rolleyes.gif

    But what's wrong with the imported Indian-version , 'Kamagra' ? wink.png

Kamagra --real or a joke?---if real where can I get?

In good stocked Thai Pharmacies and on the road,in Tourist Centers, in Bangkoks lower Sukhumvit, just bargain, maybe buy some more packs.

In Cambodia even in Grocery stores in Sihanoukville, stocked near the sweets and chocolate at the counter!biggrin.png

ok thanks, better wear glasses, might buy chocolate instead.bah.gif

  2. So, if you drink, smoke or are ill, if you eat chicken, pork or rice, if you have a vehicle, or have kids that need uniform then you will be spending much more per month.

On the other hand, if you are lucky enough to live in one of the 7 (out of 76) provinces that has the 300B minimum wage then you might, possibly, work for a company that was benevolent enough to award the salary increase without strings attached.

Your child may also be one of the 800,000 (out of around 10,000,000) lucky enough to have received a cheap Chinese tablet PC that is about as much use to your child as a chalk board.

  3. Gosh you would think they would look at some Western countries and see this universal health care system does not work. Great idea on paper, bad idea in the real world.

Been working for 60 years in the UK and improved the lives of millions of citizens who would have been left to rot if the pre-WW2 situation had been allowed to persist after 1945.

can you please tell me what free health care is available to

    thai national ? ....if any,,,

  4. I don’t know the answer to your question but my guess is that is doesn’t matter which visa. In my experience it might be the rule but they have always preferred my driver’s license over a passport except at immigration. Police and others typically can’t make heads or tails of a passport and much prefer a Thai document which they can read.

I have a Thai drivers licence but i found out today that they placed my family name as my first name. Jjust another challenge. I really enjoy living in Thailand. That is NOT a sarcastic comment. Living in a village in the north is great.

would love to sample village life in Thailand --any advise --have been to Thailand many times but not to village

  5. It was bound to happen sooner or later. Some people don't like being picked on by a mob and will retaliate. It's quite telling that there are four victims here and only two suspects.

It seems to me like the usual situation where a mob attacked a couple of people but this time the mob lost the brawl.

pick on the Irish-- silly Thai hooligans

  6. Sadly Hua Hin is no longer the place to consider far too many murders there now as with all Thai towns that grow with foreigners the crime follows..anyone who puts almost half a million pounds into a house here must be delusional or just crazy

Hope this story turns out positive but sadly it looks like it wont; like many I would be surprised if they leave with any of the 430,000 GBP

Thailand is no game and it gets very serious if you cant handle it

    just cancelled trip to Thailand.....

  7. If he brought the knife it,s premed murder ---if he grabbed a kitchen knife it's manslaughter ---

This made the Thai press a few days ago -- apparently the woman called him in Singapore late at night and told him it was all over, whereupon he flew to Bangkok and committed the crime, stabbing the guy 17 times -- fairly impressive long-term rage.

Well he may have flown back to try and talk her out of leaving him,

got to the apartment, heard noises agonized, hemmed hawed,

and got more upset, finally decided to confront her.

Then the shouting, and bike racer gets in his face.

No saying who HAD the knife, or if it was in apartment kitchen.

A 'drift bike racer' will likely be a Muay Thai guy too and definitely an adrenalin junkie, So no problem jumping in and being very aggressive.

Too much for a SingP salary man to deal with, so he may have grabbed

a kitchen knife in self defense, suddenly realizing he's in over his head.

In any case they are soon in a knock down drag out fight, a knife is produced

and rage carries on past simply surviving/winning.

I suspect from what's stated above, he has a reasonable case for crime of passion, it doesn't say he just jumped in with a plan to stab the guy.

In any case wifey's got blood on her hands, lives ruined and ended

because she wants her cake and to eat the pastry delivery boy too.

I feel bad for the Singapore guy, he may have snapped,

but she put it all in motion.

You watch far too much CSI.
