Virgin rep said all I need is a QR code to scan from AIS.
As I am abroad for 1 month, I can not go to their shop.
Is there a way to reactivate my eSIM online ?
I can not get OTP any more from them.
Their toll free number is useless from here and I can not find an email or a chat Line to deal with.
Thanks for your help

After a while you get used to people separating you out by a word that says you are a foreigner. Whether you believe it means ferengi or farangses it means "you are not one of us." You are different. And the difference is the colour of your skin.
While westerners have the word foreigner, and so do Thais, farang means different based on skin colour. Just like the Thai nickname for Indians (khek). It isn't a pejorative in their eyes but it separates you clearly from other races.
I agree with you, the full idiomatic expression is ฝรั่งสีขาว = foreigner of white color. My girlfriend calls me like that 'cause she's jealous of my skin tone ! All of her family refer to me as khun johnny, even when they're speaking of me over the phone. BTW none of them can read and write but obviously were taught good manners somehow.

That is definitely the main point to consider for frequent flyers.

Excellent news... the only logical and fair solution as the vaccine helps all, not just the person vaccinated but those with whom that person comes into contact.
As it stands: Ministry of Public Health announced:
From 1st May 60+ and those in 7 high risk groups can register - First vaccinations will strat from 7th June.
From 1st July: 18-59 can register with first vaccinations taking place in August.
Slip #1:
Then, where is the English web page so we can register for an appointment as Thai can do since yesterday ?

snip... I just signed up with Roojai to plug that gap, and it went through without any issues. Received SMS and email confirmations right away; let's see when the policy documents will arrive by snail mail - so far, so good!
I was offered the first 3 plans only, can not pick none above "Caring".
I guess that turning 70 next week got something to do with the restricted offer... ????

Good: Jomtien is 2 months seasoning prior to application.
Bad: They are one very few rogue offices that require you to return to imm office 3 months post application to show bankbook that you maintained the 800k.
Luckily, not an issue for me...yet ????

It has to be in the bank for 2 months on the day you apply for the extension. The rules state months not days.
You can apply for an extension up to the day your extension ends if needed to meet the 2 months requirement.
Straight to the point, I like it like that !
-
Interesting, and what about the 800k money seasoning, should we show the dough on application day or could it be postponed to the day of expiry ?
I am getting ready for my 2nd One-year extension renewal and not so sure if the money got to be in the bank for 2 or 3 months (are they counting in days or months actually)?
Unexpected delay in money transfer will make me late by about 1 week if I should comply with the 3 months time frame. Big drama forecast ?

Is jomtien immigration still crowded? I think they gave automatic extensions so should be fewer people
Monday 11AM, 0 queue, maybe 12 to 15 foreigners inside. In & out within 5 minutes. No question asked though I was overdue by 1 week.

That depends upon your local immigration office. Not all offices want you to show your bank book to prove the 800k is still the bank 3 months after you apply.
Chonburi (Jomtien) Immigration does.

There will be no fine for being late or any other penalty. They might think you did not get it done due to the long lines.
You could not of done on the 6ht since that was a holiday.
Thanks much for your help Joe! ????

I plainly forgot to report at Chonburi Immigration on 6 April to prove that I got sufficient funds in my account...
Though I currently exceed the minimum, will I risk a penalty for showing up late by one week?
If so, how much should I plan to take with me?

Indeed ! The British North America Act of 1867 was never signed by Quebec. The province even refused to sign the Constitution when the UK gave it back to Canada in 1982. The mascarade is over now.
