OK thanks. May as well do it today then.

Just a quicky.
My 90 day reporting date is the 9th (Sunday) but I'm leaving Thailand on the 10th for a month or so.
Do I need to do the 90 day report? If I do, it's going to have to be today.
Thanks

yes I wouldn't come to Thailand to be homeless thinking its gonna be a lovely time, it will be horrible, unsafe, there may be some good days but its a bad idea, but death in Thailand is more appealing than in a place like the UK, how you die is up to the individual, some jump, some use knifes, some hang themselves ..
to be honest I will try and beat this problem of mine in 2017, supplements, eat a super healthy diet, see medical doctors etc.. but if I can't then I might just pack my bag and walk, just walk and see where life takes me, I'd rather die doing what I love (travel) in a beautiful warm place than do the usual balcony jump in a sleazy place like Pattaya
Yet another Pattaya hater from afar.
Wouldn't consider dying in such a sleazy place?
Ridiculous. -
Many thanks all

Hi
Apologies if this has been asked before, but can someone tell me the earliest I can renew my extension based on retirement, assuming my 800K has met the 90 day requirement.
Many thanks

I've just bought the yellow as it's the only one that says that it is actually bleach, the others seem to be for using for laundry.
Interestingly, my shirt turned yellow with the pink stuff. -
I use the blue bottle from Haiter and have been very satisfied.
The OP didn't mention the nature of the stain? If it's oil based, bleach isn't the stuff.
Washed the shirt with some new jeans [emoji26] -
Right, I'll give the blue bottle a go and if that doesn't work I'll try the yellow.
Thanks all -
soak it in some white fabric dye.
Good idea. Where can I buy some and what's it called?
Thanks -
I've spoilt quite an expensive white shirt by washing it with some new jeans.
Encouraged by the photo of a gleaming white shirt, I bought this rubbish.
The shirt, water and the entire contents of this stuff have now been sitting in a bucket for 3 days. During this period, nothing seems to have happened.
I know back in the UK if I get the tiniest drop of domestos on anything, it instantly strips it off all colour - exactly the effect I was looking for.
So, does anyone know where I can buy clorox, domestos or something that might work? Preferably in the Pattaya area.

Anyone know if the TV technical bods intend to do anything to fix the numerous issues with TV and tapatalk that they've known about for several months now?
I hope to God that TV aren't paying anyone for their technical expertise and that this is all on a best efforts basis.

What does your mate think is going to happen to him back in the UK?
Single male, no dependents? I'm pretty sure they'll do nothing at all.
Winter is coming very soon. Has he any skills? Can he support himself? To be honest, it doesn't sound like your friend has much of a clue.
I wouldn't want to be in his situation, but then again,I wouldn't have let myself either. -
OP, he plopaply heard you call him a 'faLang'...when some white bloke calls me a 'faLang' who has a fraction of my language skills I usually want to knock him into next week too...
After you've knocked him into next week maybe you could educate him as to what plopaply means. -
Given the mix of drunken holiday makers throwing their inhibitions to the wind and the vast number of eager to please bar girls, Pattaya is a surprisingly non violent place.
Maybe the drunken op was just unlucky. -
I'm finding it hard to believe you said something innocuous to provoke such an extreme reaction.
You can't remember what you said? I would imagine it would have had to have been something very offensive.
Anyway, what were you doing, chuntering on to yourself on a baht bus?
That's not normal behaviour. You were probably making everyone else quite uncomfortable. -
I guess the first question I'd ask is whether you live in Thailand or not? Because if you do, and you've been able to convince the majority of sellers to ship ANYTHING to Thailand, you're ahead of most of us. Lots of EBay sellers won't even deal with Thailand. And if your international EBay goodies arrive in Thailand without the delay, hassle and cost of customs, you're either ordering small, or you're extremely lucky. Every time I order anything worth over $200, it seems I get hit with VAT and sometimes with import duties, except when I order through Lazada. Less than $100, not so much. Between $100-200, it's a flip of the coin.
The program I'm talking about is their Global Delivery program. Since EBay stuff is marketed to many countries, it's impossible to post a single, delivered price that's going to take into consideration postal charges and customs duties. A delivered price that may be profitable to the USA could lose the seller a buttload of money shipping into Russia.
So I don't compare prices head to head between EBay and Lazada. I compare the delivered price, to my office in Bangkok.
The stuff I buy is indeed very small.
Bits and bobs really.
If I buy anything large then I will usually deal with the supplier direct and pay by PayPal and I will know roughly what to expect in import duty and VAT before I agree to the purchase. -
Here's the value I get from ordering even Chinese crap from Lazada. The price they list is the delivered price. No adders for freight. No surprises from customs. The stuff just shows up. Usually faster than I expect it.
The same program from EBay also adds significant cost.
I've never had any of that in the many years I've been using eBay.
I would have thought that most people would be aware of the protection offered by eBay and the refund policy offered by PayPal.
Guess you're just unlucky.
The same program? What are you talking about. -
You're only going to get COD for items supplied in Thailand.
I'd use them more if they just implemented a proper filter.
Buying from abroad via lazada adds no value, but certainly adds some cost. -
I asked lazada if and when they proposed to develop a filter that excluded items delivered from abroad.
Unsurprisingly, they have no plans to do this.
I'm struggling to see the point of lazada if you have to plow through items shipped from abroad, that you can get easily and cheaper from eBay. -
Is this true?
Bloody hell

I checked the link and using bicycle parts, which seems appropriate, it comes up as exempt under the China free trade agreement.
Does this sound about right and possible?
-
Thanks, I've had an unpleasant experience with DHL before.

Like many others here, I've ordered stuff from China, it's been delivered without a hitch and I've never had any issue with import duty. All the packages were small though.
I'm now thinking about an electric bike project and cannot source the bits I need in Thailand.
The parts are available in China, but are going to be bulky.
Has anyone got any experience of doing something similar and what kind of duty should I expect to pay?
I realise this is Thailand and YMMV, but would be grateful for anyone's thoughts on this.
