My mate has just come back from taking his family there for their 2 weeks holiday so Turkey isn't exactly a war zone now is it ? While you are correct about Afghanistan, the fact is that no western power was ( openly- who knows what the CIA gets up to ) involved in Syria. The refugees are a product of THEIR rebellion against THEIR government. This is not a product of the west, so there is no reason for the west to be giving them special consideration, other than supporting them through the UN in camps in the middle east on humanitarian grounds.

Although a civil war did start in Syria the west has been fueling it very much since the start by training rebels in Jordan and Turkey and then sending them into Syria. The west has also been using their proxies from Saudi and Qatar to fund the war as well.I see you totally ignored my point about Iraq and the rise of ISIS, ISIS are in Syria now but did not even exist before the US/west illegal invasion of Iraq, the west is to blame for the current refugee crisis in Syria.

The Americans have had a plan to overthrow Assad going back over a decade, well before the civil war even started.Gen. Wesley Clark told us about that fact. If you are a UK national then you do not need a visa for a 15 day visit, if you want to stay longer you will need a visa from either the embassy or get a visa on arrival letter from one of the companies on the Internet.

In addition to the existing visa-free entry for certain Asian nationals, Vietnam extended the visa-free entry for certain nationalities on 1st July. These are Britain, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

According to the Vietnam Embassy in London the visa free entry for UK,German,French,Italian and Spanish nationals runs from 1st July 2015 until 30 June 2016,so a year I hope this is just a test run and they decide to extend it permanently. Also it only gives you 15 days and then you have to wait another 30 days before entering again on a free visa.

The windowsbt folder is in drive c with 3.2 gig but the setup will not work. All controlled back in Seattle, I suppose.

That's odd. Indeed, when I looked, I have that folder already in my root C drive. And when I clicked the setup.exe icon in that folder, it launched the Win 10 setup screen...

But, I didn't pursue it any further than that, because I don't want to install now. But the PC that I checked on has a reservation, but hasn't as yet received any notice that I'm OK to upgrade yet.

There are a multitude of them. First off go read the terms and conditions from microsoft and then have a look at permission for each program.

It is probably because Windows 10 is like Android always running something so could be waking your computer up. I just went to the settings and turned everthing I did not need off and computer sleeps, no problem. Of course if you do that then Cortana will not work amongst other things, depends what you need, As stated above, you could just turn the computer off.

I installed Windows 10 yesterday on my desktop and laptop then after checking it out and seeing all the invasive programs and demands for info from microsoft decided to revert back to Windows 7. On my laptop it took about 10 minutes to revert back to windows 7 by just clicking on the button in the update and security section of the settings menu. My desktop was a different story, seems I deleted some files thru crap cleaner and it cannot revert back so would have to do a full reinstall from ISO disk image.

Windows 10 is a very nice operating system, a cross between Windows 7 and 8.1/windows phone but along with that goes adverts embedded in programs and privacy issues,much like Android, Google etc..

So I will use Windows 7 on my laptop and leave Windows 10 on my desktop for a bit and see how it goes but will probably uninstall that as well because Windows 7 is supported until 2020 and does not leak data like Windows 10 does.

You can use Zen VPN as a free addon in firefox, works well.It onlys works inside the browser though. If you want a VPN that works for things like torrents and the like then Privateinternetaccess does one and it is about $39 for a year.
