I successfully completed online application (religious visa ie monk) at internet Cafe but wish to use a mobile in Future (no computer).
I recall ubonjoe saying that he was able to access the immigration website via his mobile. I have downloaded chrome and Firefox browser's. Chrome doesn't allow for add on on android at present. I downloaded user agent switcher and phony onto Firefox. The first is difficult to use ie have to find and somewhere insert IE Explorer user agent. So I have used phony. But am unable to click on the search button to find my application... Is it due to time of day (middle of day), phony add-on, internet connection, own stupidity....

anyone else having internat access issues? they told me to change the apn settings, which i did. i lost the original apn settings which came with the sim...grrrrr.
it tends to cycle through h+ 3g and h and usually settles on h+
i set wcdma to their band as well as tried auto.
any other suggestions...i guess change to true/dtac

so i am undecided...
my mate needs to send me back my ipod that got repaired back in oz. and thought to get a phone to hotspot the ipod ...needs good reception abiltiy.
phones are cheaper back home but maybe wise to get one from ais shop or local dealer or thai website... which do u recommend please..
saw some iphone 4s /has good reception/ quite cheap so aassume they r second hand but will easily hotspot the ipod.
anotheroption is something cheap but jst as effective antenna eg nokia 520 has good reputaion
in oz telstra give blue tick to fones tiat test well in remote locals.
another option is huawei ascend g300+ or motorola defy+

i saw it on the ais website just now ...the dual sim version at least... about 7400 Bt i vaguely recall

i am ahigh risk ozzie...lots of moles. so will take the safe option. i also want to do annual checks as a precaution.

Thankyou Fletch and Sheryl
Appreciate that info and will follow up on it.
Quick follow up question.in your experience/opinion What is likely to be a typical period of time between contacting dr. N and the initial consultation ie how busy is he and also between consult and and further treatment say minor surgery to test a few moles.
Cheers!

best place for buying bank cheques
in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments

additional info
i want to buy exchange some cash for bank cheques (for monks to use rather than carrying cash). Each bank has different costs/commissions. does anyone know the best value bank for this type of product/service?
the amounts are small say 1000 to 3000 baht. but there may be quite a few cheques to purchase now and in the future.
while the cost is minimal (10-30 baht) there is still a wide variation between banks. is there a website that compares such products? Or does someone have personal knowledge of this?
thanks in advance
