You could get a one year extension of stay based upon retirement at immigration. You will need to show 800k baht in a Thai bank for 60 days or proof of 65k baht income or a combination of the 2 totaling 800k baht. To apply for the extension you will need an entry from a non immigrant O visa.

If not you could get a 2 entry tourist visa in Vientiane or Savannakhet. The visa would allow two 60 day entries that can be extended at an immigration office for 30 days.

Getting a tourist visa would break the chain of 90 day entries you have been getting and allow you do at least one more after the tourist visa ends.

Just a quick one which you might be able to answer. Isn't it also possible for the OP to get an 'elite' visa for 500'000 baht which is valid for 20 years (4x 5 years) which could also act as a retirement visa? And save the hassle of re-applying and showing 800K combinations every year.

Jonclark, get your facts right, the 500K Elite visa is only good for 5 years ..period.

And it will cost 2000000 bhat for 30 years Elite Visa, there is no such visa with 500000 Bhat for 20 years.

I understand your emotional feeling, but if you really dont mind me saying, Please dont rush in to such decision so fast. You have hardly seen the life. I would request you to get skilled and try to make a living with it first. Or simply take time off and see where it leads you but don't waste precious time fro your life chasing a rainbow.

No specific limits for visa exemptions. As long as you never over stayed and which was recorded, feel free to come and go as many times as you wish .

Thailand hardly practices an examplorary punishment but if they enforced such punishment I strongly believe many crimes wouldn't be repeated but instead it's always meaningless punishment specially if it's a Thai involved

No problem at all just contact the Thailand elite customer service. Once you have a passport just fly to Subarnabhumi airport and the Elite personal assistant who will receive you prior immigration will do the rest. But I understand yo reissue it may take a day or two and requires another 100 usd fees.

If I were you, I would go with option 1.

Take the old passport with you where the visa is stamped and present the new passport along with it. Its fine, Saying from my personal experience.

as far as I know, no such limits. as long as you dont over stay or something like that. Each time you apply the thai embassy gets a visa fee too ( though of course its non refundable).

if you pay good salary, you get good guards from good company its that simple, and at times the building management authorities chose their own guards from the recommendation of their friends or relatives or selecting some one as personal favor.

A phone call from them means just clearing a Particular doubt they might have , nothing more or nothing less at that point.
