Coral Grand might disappoint you. Not at all as classy as they make out to be. Try Thipwimarn, Koh Tao Cabana, Sensi Paradise or Charm Churee Villa instead. None of them's got diveschools attached (which is more a relief than an inconvenience), but will be happy to help you book a course or fundives with any of the 40 or so dive schools that are operating. Shop around when you arrive to see which one you like the best - the standards are pretty similar so go for the people and atmosphere you like best.

The big spenders will continue going to Maldives, Seychelles, Caribbeans etc until Thailand can compete in infrastructure, beauty (yes, Thailand is beautiful but unfortunately not very clean-looking...). Just not up to the mark at the moment... Sad but true. Until then I'm afraid we have to contend with less picky tourists.

Aaah, story of my life

Oh, it's just that I find asian men very attractive, have always done... Even living back in Europe i dated mostly asian men. Funny thing, but at least I get to keep them for myself since it seems most girls don't like the asian look Will keep on with the "not looking" approach, though it hasn't worked at all for some time now, maybe time to start looking again

Well, I wouldn't say I'm specifically looking for a Thai man, it's just the problem of the farang guys just hanging around in LOS tend to leave the country after a time - at least where I live. So it seems like a Thai man is the only option for a long-term relationship. Sigh, always these problems, eyh?

Speaking of pills - need to get more of the ones I use... They're called Cerazette (by Organon) in Europe, low dosage ones, same same here? Can I get them here in Thailand or am I gonna have to send for them somehow from Europe?

I'm in Sweden at the moment and there's more of a birdflu scare here than in Thailand it seems like. The newspapers (tabloids) have articles about "how to protect your family" etc, which is not axactly helping the tourism situation in Asia. People demand that stocks of Tamiflu should be made available. Considering how many people have been infected with birdflu (and how they got it), it seems more sensible to warn people about, say, malaria, but I guess that doesn't sell as many copies...

Believe it or not, there actually is a type of fungus that eats the layer where the data is stored on CD's and DVD's, which causes the CD's to malfunction. I've had discs that after a year or so are completely see-through - just a piece of plastic Buy an external hard drive (quite cheap today) and transfer disc contents you want to keep on to it.

It's not only the cup sizes, it seems like Thai bras have their cups closer together as well... and higher somehow. Have tried a few different ones on, and they never seem to fit. Have B-cup in farangland, and have tried evrything in B and C sizes here (when I find them...) - so I guess Thai girls have narrower chests than us white ladies

I think it's easy for farang to feel that every such move is directed at them but the truth of the matter is such decisions affect far more Thais than they do foreigners. These moves are directed at Thais.

Yeah, it will effect lots of Thais if the tourism is affected, since tourism is one of the largest sources of income for the whole country. In the long run it might affect peoples desire to come here, or visit again. Just my ten cents...

Excuse me, but how can import of endangered species for the intention of killing and eating them be legal? Crocs, dogs, snakes, ok, but lions and tigers?

Guess it could be solved by proxys etc but you never know what will happen in the future considering the way censoring seems to be going here.
