Um, maybe the Dems did muck around with the money for the tunnels. They sure did not work last week.
Check out the street lights they put up on silom and sat horn a couple of years ago. They still don't work! Clearly a revenue harvesting operation!

I guess all the slappers will have to dawn platinum blond hairdos, bigger fake tits and learn to roller-skate

It is supposed to be pink, not white, right?

I just stayed at the Amari and its very kid friendly. Lots of grass to run around on, kids room with games and toys, two big pools and a bar in the pool for daddy to have a beer. No skanks around.

You are an idiot and should never procreate
Kids need love and support. You need a long walk on a short pier.

All radio channels are still available this morning (17th) although no DMX tag that I can see. Do not know if they have reconsidered or just late turning them off (Thai time).
I noticed that too. I wonder if they've had a change of mind? However, other notices on the radio channels (e.g. the BBC World Service) still seem to indicated that radio is being discontinued.
True Marketing guy wrote to Bangkok Post that they we aware and "listening" to the community. I think they don't want t stink and are leaning either way. Call them and complain!
-
They do listen?Hopefully True can be persuaded to change their mind. I'm particularly angry about the cancellation of the BBC World Service as it's ideal night-time background noise, and far more convenient being able to turn it on/off via the TV trhan having to get it online.
make sure to call and complain. They do listen and there seems to be lots of people pissed off on this.
I thought it was already an achievement if you could get to the point that they answer the phone.
call 02 725 2525 before 10 pm and they answer in less than a minute. Ask for DMX music back

there have been many letters in the Bangkok Post concerning this. Today there is a letter from True saying they are reconsidering canceling the music stations. I will call them and complain. I hope others do as well. The music is good the the sounds quality excellent!

Hey you shulbs!
No one listens to classical music? Or disco? Easy Rock?
OK. JUst joking about the last two but still - digital quality music! Good stuff!
We got to stop being pushed around by True! Who is with me?

I've recently heard of at least three cases of foreigners being robbed by motorcycle riders in the Sukhumvit area. People I know.
Soi 22, soi 15 and Sukhumvit in front of Intercontinetal.
Cops don't care.Probably get a cut.

I have True platinum cable (not working at this moment). The have music channels - DXM i think they are called - which are quite good. Suddenly thee is a notice that they are being canceled on Sept 12th. This sucks! Anyone else concerned? Shall we rise up and stop them?
-
My True cable service in Asoke went down about 6PM. I called and they have a message saying they are aware there is problem. Anyone else effected?

I called one company a few years a go to store a couch and love seat I hated in the house I rent. They came, took the stuff and never billed me or contacted me again. It's been at least three years, so I guess i'll just forget it and buy new stuff when I move out to replace them.

Fact - there is a lot of poontang in Bangkok.
Hope they find it!

Does this include the green street lights on silom and sathorn that never worked?

I've heard from many friends, experienced expats living in Bangkok, who have been attacked within the past year. Crooks are looking for iPhones and laptops. They come up on motorbikes, center of Sukumvit at night. Several have been hurt, dragged on the ground. Cops don't' want to know.
Perhaps now, with the entire Australian travel agent association now aware of how dangerous Thailand has become, the government here will do something before the Americans and Europeans get wind. Otherwise super discounts at beach hotels!

British Club is open to most expats

You got in business with the cops, so your mistake. Take the 400K and go. Next offer will be one you can't refuse.
