  1. The 25th Thai National Spoofing Championship will be Friday December 6th at the British Club.

All Gentlemen of good wit and character are invited to join. The event is hosted by the Bangkok Gentlemen Spoofers and will be held in the esteemed Churchill Bar of the British Club on Friday the 6th of December. Interested parties should join the Spoofers on a Tuesday evening about 8:30 to learn or brush up your spoofing skills before the Championship. We meet each Tuesday in the Churchill Bar of the British Club. No need to be a member of the club.

For more information on the Bangkok Gentlemen Spoofers and spoofing see http://www.bangkokspoofers.com/cms/ or come on a Tuesday evening.

  2. All radio channels are still available this morning (17th) although no DMX tag that I can see. Do not know if they have reconsidered or just late turning them off (Thai time).

I noticed that too. I wonder if they've had a change of mind? However, other notices on the radio channels (e.g. the BBC World Service) still seem to indicated that radio is being discontinued.

True Marketing guy wrote to Bangkok Post that they we aware and "listening" to the community. I think they don't want t stink and are leaning either way. Call them and complain!

  3. Hopefully True can be persuaded to change their mind. I'm particularly angry about the cancellation of the BBC World Service as it's ideal night-time background noise, and far more convenient being able to turn it on/off via the TV trhan having to get it online.

make sure to call and complain. They do listen and there seems to be lots of people pissed off on this.

    They do listen?

I thought it was already an achievement if you could get to the point that they answer the phone.

call 02 725 2525 before 10 pm and they answer in less than a minute. Ask for DMX music back

  5. I called one company a few years a go to store a couch and love seat I hated in the house I rent. They came, took the stuff and never billed me or contacted me again. It's been at least three years, so I guess i'll just forget it and buy new stuff when I move out to replace them.

  6. Join the British Club. Lots of activities, sports, and a good bar.

Come by on Tuesday evening around 8 and join the Bangkok Gentlemen Spoofers who meet each week in Churchill Bar for spoof, social intercourse and charity. Membership in BC not required to come join Spoofers on Tuesday evenings.

  7. I've heard from many friends, experienced expats living in Bangkok, who have been attacked within the past year. Crooks are looking for iPhones and laptops. They come up on motorbikes, center of Sukumvit at night. Several have been hurt, dragged on the ground. Cops don't' want to know.

Perhaps now, with the entire Australian travel agent association now aware of how dangerous Thailand has become, the government here will do something before the Americans and Europeans get wind. Otherwise super discounts at beach hotels!
