If you judge people by the cover you can miss out on a lot of great friendships. Sure some tattoos seem more spooky than others, and facial tattoos are probably a thing that scare away most. But if you sit down with people and have a beer or two and ask what their tattoos represent, you will find out that you most likely have a lot in common. Each tattoo normally represent a story or a point in someone's life where certain things happened. It's not like all people with tattoos are mentally unstable. Some probably are, but so are people with no tattoos. What about Thai people, that has a ton of Buddhist tattoos? Do you feel uncomfortable being around those too?

We can't compare the quality of beef and pig, since both animals are great for different kind of dishes. What we can say is that everyone as a consumer should get what they pay for. If Muslims pay for beef, they shouldn't get beef mixed with leftovers of pig and so on. Having worked in the restaurant industry for 20+ years i know where some of the problems are. Butchers are not always changing or cleaning their equipment properly enough, when they switch from different kinds of meat. Same goes in some restaurant kitchens. I have seen myself several times after we handed the equipment to the dishwashers, we had it returned with leftovers of meat in the different parts of the grinder, so we had to send it back for another cleaning. I can imagine not everyone are going through their equipment like a detective, so small parts of meat are still in the equipment when grinding the next kind of animal. There are parts of the equipment, where you actually can't visually confirm if it's totally clean or not. I can imagine it's the same thing in some of these cases where they find DNA from other animals. Nothing lethal, but it's certainly not good PR. If you sell beef, the product should only contain beef and not parts of pork and so on.

Wouldn't it be possible to automate that process to avoid all that hassle? If a foreigner is tested positive, 30 days extra would automatically be given. They have the positive test in some data system, so they just have to coordinate it with immigration?

Thailand does not have immunity pass as far as i can read on the danish foreign minstry site, but i would check the Thai embassy website if i were you. If i just had Covid, i wouldn't go to a country that demands a test on arrival. If you are unlucky the PCR test will still flag you as positive. Some shed inactive/dead virus for up to three months, which the PCR test count as a positive case. Other tests can determine if you are good to go, so to speak, but i'm not sure if tourists can get that test, as an extra test if tested positive. So quarantine or find a country that allows immunity pass/no test on arrival?

It says this in the article. It's that not the same as saying a positive pcr test after day nice are false positive, since there are no live virus left or am I mixing up things? Authorities are aware that PCR tests can test positive after infection. Which is why some countries don't demand a negative test before you can go back to work after infection, since it would take quite a while for some people to test negative.

True, but would you try to get it on purpose as topic poster ask? I prefer to have the vaccines and then live my life as normal as possible, but I'm not trying to hunt down a positive person to try and get it ???? Just finished vacation on Tenerife where it was quite packed with tourists, and the airport was like totally crowded. Omicron was spiking on Tenerife too. Living my life as normal as i can and not hunkering down.

Not assuming anything, and i probably get it at some time, but why take the risk and risk ending up in hospital taking a bed someone else might need more. I take my shots, and if i get it i get it, and that's most likely the best way to address this problem.

No reason to get it if you can avoid it. Even if you are vaccinated or not, you don't know how your body will react. You might be one of those that has to go through a rough case of COVID-19 and then it's not worth it, since the anti bodies will go away again, and then you're still able to get another round of covid. Just like we don't get the regular flu on purpose, i can't see why we should try and get covid on purpose just to get it over with.
