  1. Nice with some mobile artillery systems. In these days with the newest radar systems that can pinpoint the artillery positions very fast, it's important to have mobile artillery that can fire a few rounds and then move to new locations. Denmark bought the French made Caesar 8x8 artillery systems a few years ago, that can link several systems together and hit targets 40 km away, and that system is capable of setting up within minutes, each system fire about 6 155mm rounds in a minute, and drive away 30 second later and be long gone before the enemy are capable of hitting the place they fired from. A shell takes about 30 seconds to land 40km away afaik, so in theory it only give the enemy 30 second to pinpoint the artillery position and fire if they want to hit that exact position in time. By the time the 6th round hit, the ceasar systems are able to drive to new positions. It has the disadvantage that some of the crew has to stand outside the vehicle while it's operated, but if you are supposed to be gone by the time when the enemy retaliate, it might outweigh the negatives. I wonder if those ceasar systems are part of any weapon packs sent to Ukraine from any country?
  2. Putins plans really seem to backfire. He wanted less threats from NATO and complained about the expansion of NATO countries, and now it seems like Finland and Sweden will apply in the middle of next month ???? They both plan to send applications in week 20 according to swedish newspapers. Can't they speed it up a bit? Like send it May 8 in week 19. The day before the russian victory day on may 9. Putin would hate to see the russian news write about that on the russian victory day.
  3. Yeah there is a big difference in choice of tables, but it looks like he is struggling with something in video below. Not the best things for the world if the russian dictator is getting seriously sick. You never know what he might do before he clocks out.
  4. Hopefully some sabotage groups are successful in blowing up the Crimean bridge. That would mess a lot with russian logistics.
  5. By blocking them and starving them russia breaks another rule of war, when it involves civilians. It's not legal to use that method, but i guess russia has stopped caring about the rules a long time ago.
  6. https://coffeeordie.com/phoenix-ghost-drone/ New drones are on the way, and in same article it says 72 more Howitzers and 144.000 artillery rounds as well. Keep them weapons coming even if 144.000 artillery rounds can be used in less than a week in a battlefield the size of Ukraine. Hopefully they make a difference.
  7. Don't give Putin such a hard time. The last time he sat at a table that was like 20 meters long so he could avoid corona, assassination attempts and i don't know what. Now he manned up and sit face to face at a LEGO sized table and he get some flak too. Please realize it's not easy to be Putin. We should send him some love. In the form of Missiles with a lot of hearts painted on the top.....
  8. One thing is to use those bombs against soldiers hunkering down, since they know they always are a target, but if you use them, when you know there are hundred of civilians at the same place, then it's just murder and a war crime.
  9. Seems like there still is Resistance in Mariupol. The Russians in this video probably wish they didn't enter the city. If they are alive to tell the story.... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3D6HZIB3hGhvc&ved=2ahUKEwig7uaT16L3AhVKs4sKHUF3B48QwqsBegQIAhAE&usg=AOvVaw0X38MAPYeIZ41ophxmEyG0
  10. About the weapon supplies. It's funny that Russia are now complaining that US and other countries supply Ukraine with weapons. Didn't Soviet supply Vietnam with missiles to shoot down US planes during that war? Didn't Soviet supply fighter pilots to fly MiGs in the Korean war. I think Russia should shut the <deleted> off and just retreat from a country that is not theirs and hopefully never will be.
  11. Well we got this thing called NATO and if a Russian bomb drop on my head here in Europe, i die, but Russia would be flattened in a war against NATO so i highly doubt Russia will drop bombs in NATO countries. And if they do. Then it's just to bad for us all
  12. And that is why i will never travel to a country that require tests after arrival. I would have been back in Thailand a long time ago if it were not for the tests/masks but until those two things are gone I'm staying in Europe, where it's possible to travel to countries that require no tests or use of masks. Hopefully it's the last year Thailand keep those two restrictions in place. I want to get back to Samui and Koh Chang.
  13. Allegedly the Moskva before it sank. Looks like it's completely blown open several places, if the picture are real. What is interesting is that there are no signs of any rough sea as the Russians claimed.
  14. No idea how soldiers should react in wartime, but wouldn't it be best for them to surrender in this specific situation? They seem to be trapped in a place with no chance of reinforcements and such. Of course no one knows what the Russians will do with them if they surrender, so it's also a gamble to surrender. Mariupol seems to be a living hell on earth where thousands of civilians has been murdered. I hope the Russians are not able to cover it up, and that they will pay the price for their horrendous actions. I also hope the worlds weapon supplies are coming very fast, since Intel seems to indicate the Russians will try to cut off a whole lot of Ukrainian soldiers in the east. They need all the howitzers, helicopters and armored vehicles they can use and it's about time we start supplying them with fighter jets as well. Russia crossed the red line a long time ago, and Ukraine should get everything they need to fight off the Russians.
  15. I'm not so afraid of some of them pushing the button on purpose, because they know that would end their own lives and all they know. I'm more afraid of another incident like that in Jan 25 1995 where a Norwegian science rocket almost caused a nuclear response. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.history.com/.amp/this-day-in-history/near-launching-of-russian-nukes
  16. True i was just thinking about the possibility of nuclear warheads on the bottom of the sea and what it might cause of damage.
  17. I saw some photos from Kyiv where people lined up to buy stamps. It's amazing what such a small piece of paper can do for the morale. Living in a country at war and a stamp like this made this man smile.
  18. I like that lowtech approach if it's true. Drones seems to be playing a large part in the war. Drones are reported to have been used to harass the vessel and keep its air defences distracted before the missiles were fired from a hidden battery near Odessa.
  19. There is probably some nasty things that will leak, but i would be more concerned about it's ability to launch nuclear warheads. Did they have any nuclear weapons on board or only conventional weapons.
  20. The Russian version are so embarrassing that if i were the Russian authorities i just would have said it was hit by missiles and then sunk. Even if it weren't... Russian version of a fire broke out and it later sank due to bad weather is Benny Hill material. Sure that could happen on smaller normal vessels, but a billion dollar missile cruiser.... That's just too embarrassing and i bet Putin is jumping up and down in his office like a little angry leprechaun. Ohh well Moskva will never again uses it's lethal weapons onboard. It's P-1000 vulkan missiles were able to carry nuclear warheads with a range of up to 700 kilometer, so it was a serious threat to all potential surrounding enemy ships. https://missiledefenseadvocacy.org/missile-threat-and-proliferation/todays-missile-threat/russia/p-1000-vulkan/ Excersise footage. It's some serious hardware that are now on the bottom of the sea.
  21. Is there a study that shows water splashing can help spread COVID? Wouldn't the potential virus particles be so diluted that they most likely would be harmless?
  22. Here is some good news for you then. The ship is now an artificial reef on the buttom of the black Sea. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-61114843
  23. The Russian version are even more embarrassing. It was a fire onboard that caused the ammunition to blow up. That's Russian incompetence at highest level if it's true. No matter what happened it's good that is out of business.
  24. Maybe Russia can sell it to Thailand as a submarine... Besides that, it's incredible if it were really two Ukrainian Neptune missiles that caused the fire/explosion. I saw some videos a while back of what kind of defense and attack systems that ship has, and it's amazing if one or two Neptune managed to bypass those defense systems. Neptune missiles that are based on older Russian missiles. A bit ironic. It's going to be one sad may 9 parade for the Russian fleet...... A huge prestige loss for Russia
