Putins plans really seem to backfire.

He wanted less threats from NATO and complained about the expansion of NATO countries, 

and now it seems like Finland and Sweden will apply in the middle of next month ????

They both plan to send applications in week 20 according to swedish newspapers.

Can't they speed it up a bit?

Like send it May 8 in week 19.

The day before the russian victory day on may 9.

Putin would hate to see the russian news write about that on the russian victory day.

By blocking them and starving them russia breaks another rule of war, when it involves civilians.

New drones are on the way, and in same article it says 72 more Howitzers and 144.000 artillery rounds as well.

Keep them weapons coming even if 144.000 artillery rounds can be used in less than a week in a battlefield the size of Ukraine.

Hopefully they make a difference.

The last time he sat at a table that was like 20 meters long so he could avoid corona, assassination attempts and i don't know what.

Now he manned up and sit face to face at a LEGO sized table and he get some flak too.

Please realize it's not easy to be Putin.

It's funny that Russia are now complaining that US and other countries supply Ukraine with weapons.

Didn't Soviet supply Vietnam with missiles to shoot down US planes during that war?

Didn't Soviet supply fighter pilots to fly MiGs in the Korean war.

I think Russia should shut the <deleted> off and just retreat from a country that is not theirs and hopefully never will be.

Well we got this thing called NATO and if a Russian bomb drop on my head here in Europe, i die, but Russia would be flattened in a war against NATO so i highly doubt Russia will drop bombs in NATO countries.

And that is why i will never travel to a country that require tests after arrival.

I would have been back in Thailand a long time ago if it were not for the tests/masks but until those two things are gone I'm staying in Europe, where it's possible to travel to countries that require no tests or use of masks.

Hopefully it's the last year Thailand keep those two restrictions in place.

I want to get back to Samui and Koh Chang.

No idea how soldiers should react in wartime, but wouldn't it be best for them to surrender in this specific situation?

They seem to be trapped in a place with no chance of reinforcements and such.

Of course no one knows what the Russians will do with them if they surrender, so it's also a gamble to surrender.

Mariupol seems to be a living hell on earth where thousands of civilians has been murdered.

I hope the Russians are not able to cover it up, and that they will pay the price for their horrendous actions.

I also hope the worlds weapon supplies are coming very fast, since Intel seems to indicate the Russians will try to cut off a whole lot of Ukrainian soldiers in the east.

They need all the howitzers, helicopters and armored vehicles they can use and it's about time we start supplying them with fighter jets as well.

Russia crossed the red line a long time ago, and Ukraine should get everything they need to fight off the Russians.

An interesting detail — yesterday, the Postal service of #Ukraine️ presented a new series of postage stamps “Russian warship, go <deleted> yourself”. And guess what? The ship in the picture is Russian missile cruiser #Moskva, the Black Sea Fleet flagship that was destroyed today.

 

I saw some photos from Kyiv where people lined up to buy stamps.

It's amazing what such a small piece of paper can do for the morale.

Living in a country at war and a stamp like this made this man smile.

Russian version of a fire broke out and it later sank due to bad weather is Benny Hill material.

Although these news caused me slight disappointment, I think there is a third possible cause for the fire: sabotage. that would be worse than incompetence or act of war.

Besides that, it's incredible if it were really two Ukrainian Neptune missiles that caused the fire/explosion.

I saw some videos a while back of what kind of defense and attack systems that ship has, and it's amazing if one or two Neptune managed to bypass those defense systems.

Neptune missiles that are based on older Russian missiles.

A bit ironic.

It's going to be one sad may 9 parade for the Russian fleet......
