I have an NMAX 155. Love it, stable on the road but small enough for parking. Go smaller in the city though.
Just bought 2nd NMax(new not available) PCX ABS now 110k incl. registration in Pattaya ????

Mr J, so how much cash discount did you get?
Bought my new Civic in February. Test sit in Na Jomtien, they offered me 250k for my old Toyota, wanted 5k for first year insurance. Honda Thailand in Bangkok gave me 300k for my old car plus free insurance and dash cam. Worth a couple of trips to Bangkok.
got 30k cash discount, 1st insurance all the usual giveaways.....

Thanks for the input all!
We got a place on Samui up from Chaweng, less spectacular - but under budget.
All agents were very decent and helpful.
The market has changed dramatically, however, and everything I pursued was rented out before I could react, or the tenant extended.
So I had to take a place sight unseen, against my DNA. It was important to lock this in and the location is great for us.
We like the safety, it's close to a good hospital, the shopping we need to do, and also a great beach.
It has a functional little gym and the clincher was the Netflix! lol
Plus the development is surrounded by jungle - no cell towers, planes, or power lines - which is important to us.
out of interest - any link, details or pictures from this property?

just finalized my yellow book and pink ID card with help of my lawyer at Nongprue City Hall (Blu+Yellow book/free) and Ampoe Banglamung (ID card/fee 100THB/about 1.5hrs)
together with the missing blue book of my house it took me almost 4 months and about 3-4 visits, interviews etc ft the city hall
wouldnt do it again but hope in the future will have some advantages

both dealer garages have the same owner, I have used both in the past and considering the new in Na Jomtien better in regards of costumer service
though both are very hesitating to give any cash discount for new cars - thats why I bought my 2 Hondas in Sri Racha and Chonburi

+1 from me, this is spot on, they are independent franchise entities in Thailand, Honda has very little say in what they do and their pricing etc. , even spare parts.
My own experience with Phuket "Cartel" Honda dealerships and Forza spare parts has been terrible, they put on outrageous extras on prices of parts....????
Why bother with all their <deleted>, just buy an NMax if available at list price, you don't even have to deal with Honda dealership later for service and parts - you won't regret it, and I heard from friends Yamaha is much better respecting their 3 years or 30k km warranty ...., no brainer !
thanks - Yamaha currently 50k km or 5 years warranty (small bikes only)

10 years ago, Asia City Motors in Bowin loved to undercut the Pattaya dealer prices.
The owner came and picked me up, took me to the shop and I saved 10,000Bt on my Honda scoot.
contacted them and now they are selling at similar priced as Mityon Pattaya - 108k for PCX 160ABS
even Honda headquarter Thailand wouldnt help - "contatct your local dealer" was the only response
any update where I can get the PCX 160ABS for the 93.900 advertised on the webpage?
Thanks

sold exactly the same model (09/2015) but with only 25.000km in 11/2021 for 800k via facebook market place, Honda dealer offered me 700K

Yeah, I wonder if you buy Moderna at a private hospital, having already had two doses of something else, will they give you the full dose or just a half-dose? It seems the booster should just be a half-dose of Moderna, while a full dose of Pfizer is fine.
"From those findings, they determined a preference for the Pfizer vaccine to be offered to all adults who participate in the UK’s booster programme.
Moreover, the JCVI found that individuals could be offered half a dose of the Moderna vaccine as an alternative.
In its independent report that was released last September, it explained: “A half dose (50µg) of Moderna vaccine is advised over a full dose due to the levels of reactogenicity seen following boosting with a full dose within the COV-BOOST trial.”
Regardless 1st 2nd or booster Moderna in Thailand is only provided by 50mg

was able to do a test ride with the current TMax 2021 model from Pattaya main dealer for one hour, my impression and comparison with my Forza 350
more leg room and better seating position (I am 1.84m)
fantastic and far superior suspension, bumps and bad road surfaces are handled very good
fantastic brakes, good to dose and way better than all bikes I had
Electric adjustable windshield is higher than Forza and therefore much less noise and wind pressure
handling and turning superior even with about 40kg more weight
power and acceleration great and very responsive
only negative point is the sound - so akrapovic or similar exhaust may needed
so will wait until spring to see the 2022 model in flesh and decide from there (if good discounts then for the old model - why not?)
but XADV or Forza 750 are not yet out of the race

Did you look at the NC750X ? Comes with DCT so near enuf to a CVT but more a motorcycle than a scooter.
Thanks - Don’t like the foot rest position and weather protection, need more storage as well….

Thanks for your input- agree very expensive, I am currently on a Forza 350 , need for daily commuting and would like to have additional fun - but need automatic, practicality and forward leg position
so either XADV/ Forza 750 or TMAX?
