How can you tell for sure if its AIS or 3BB network?

I just did the port forwarding on the router. They have a setting for AIS Virtual server. 

I'm getting it now. They are trying to figure out how to get the signal in. Probably trying to align the router Mac to the server. The router has 3, 1Gb Ethernet ports and 1, 2.5Gb port. So you will need. Switch coming out that one lan port. I'm pretty sure it's 3BB server vice AIS. Ill know more after it's running. 3BB guy just got back.

Anyone get 2G internet from 3BB? I asked for the service upgrade about a week ago. Still waiting. 

Wondering if anyone has it can tell me if the provided router they give you has a 2.5G ethernet port? I assume so as you cant get 2Gbps speeds from a gigabit port. 

Or do you need a 2.5Gbe ONT? I just sent 3BB a message asking this. Waiting on response. There is no picture of the back of the router in the ads. Also it says you  may get a different router than the picture. 

The desk people at the store dont seem to be very knowledgeable on that specific. 

So if you have it please let me know. 

Im using the new look site and I dont really like it but I have not had any of the troubles mentioned. I use Edge and Chrome browser as well as the android app. The experience so far has been the same. No issues. Not sure why your experiencing those problems. New deposits coming into the account do take a little longer to reflect in the available balance though.  Usually it seems to be a hour or so longer than usual. 

recom273. Thanks. Your right. Phone started ringing and the internet went down while I was watching a movie.  It was 3BB calling. They put the router into bridge from over there. I dont have the other router ready to go yet. Was wondering what the hell was going on. Basically they told me the same thing. Or I can just call them and they will send a tech over to do it for me. Its simple enough I can do it myself though when I do the other router. 

There is alot more you can do other than extend the wifi range. I messaged 3BB and asked them. Hopefully they will get back to me with an answer. 

To add a second router and increase wifi range. 

Trying to turn on Bridge mode for the 3BB AN5506-04-FA Fiber Router. When I go to Connection Type its greyed out. I cannot select Bridge. Can someone point me in the direction to get it to what I want?

If I change Service type to Internet I can change it to Bridge but then I lose internet.

I read through the link about the guy who ordered the laptop. It wasnt specified where he ordered it from or if was just sent from someone. Things can be drastically different. I once ordered something from New Egg and when it got here I had to pay about 80% of product cost in import tax/tariff. Also had an item sent from a friend and customs wanted a copy of my passport and alot of money in tax. (I told them send it back). Thats why I only order through Amazon now. Because if the cost is over what they list they cover the extra cost. And will refund the difference if less. Amazon uses DHL, UPS, USPS and others for delivery of goods and seem to have a good bead on it all. I like knowing how much I will have to pay vice the surprise when it gets here. 

Its been a few years but I ordered a monitor that was over 40k baht from Amazon. I ordered through Amazon specifically because it was cheaper than buying a similar spec monitor locally. Amazon listed the taxes needed. I checked out and paid everything. Delivery was on time no issues. Product arrived safely. About three or four weeks after delivery I received refund of overpayment on the import taxes etc. (it wasnt much maybe $30 or so if I remember correctly). I didnt have any issue in regard to an Import Declaration. The tracking showed when it arrived in Thailand and under customs inspection. As well as when it was released from customs. I know they inspected the box because it was opened. I think the total cost of my monitor was 50k or a little more than that. 

I order from Amazon often for computer parts but I think that is the only order I made at 40k or above.

Which does conflict with what you posted is why I am wondering if anyone has shopped NewEgg. Like Amazon it is once its charged you know you dont have to pay anything more. If the cost go over what was quoted - they pay. If its under they refund you the difference in a week or so. The website says two different things so I am trying to work through the confusion. NewEgg doesnt offer a solid answer when talking with them. 

Ben thanks for the reply. I would bother because there are some things that you can not find here. Also there are some things which are considerably cheaper. There is also the fact that I can. Just looking for an answer from someone who has ordered from New Egg. 

I havent ordered from NewEgg in about 5 or 6 years. Last time I did I was charged import duty on items coming in. I noticed on the NewEgg website that now they take out vat/duty on checkout. The print says you are not liable for more import charges. 

Has anyone ordered from NewEgg and can confirm this? When I order from Amazon I never have to worry about paying anything on delivery as they do it at checkout. Not having used NewEgg in so long just wondering if its the same. 

You need a Kor Ror 2 document. Not a Kor Ror 22 document. 

Your marriage was inside Thailand so the document need is Kor Ror 2, and its necessary for the extension based on marriage. 

Take for instance you went to the bank and deposited some money. Next day you go back and they said you didnt. You would be upset wouldnt you? Especially if they told you 4 or 5 times that you didnt. Also wondering if others were having similar issues. Pre iously i heard a guy went three monhs before he got his money back. Dont want to be like that guy. I was wondering if others had similar issues recently. Maybe a system thing and not just me. Sorry for being so oppressive to your reading chaiyaTh. Some people nowdays...

Yep. Called TW and all that. Went to the bank. Waiting to see what comes next. Used TW for three years and only other problem with them is a year maybe two years ago they had that server issue with the codes being messed up and my transfer was delayed. This time they are saying it was transferred successful but no money. Im pretty sure it will work out. I mean I have the statement from my bank showing no deposit...So I feel pretty good Ill get my money back. Its just when I am wondering about. Checked account number everything correct. Songkran was cancelled. And banks open. TW says they used Kasikorn to Bankok Bank. Regardless of Holiday it all should have happened.

Needed some cash so I transferred about $700 from my bank in US to my Bank Bank account via Transferwise.

i didnt care if it showed international transfer or not so I selected the first option which was sending money home to family.

Did the transfer at around 11 a.m. Expected payout was estimated in the afternoon at 5 pm. That evening didnt show up but decided wait until tomorrow.

1400 still no money so called TW. The guy on the phone not very helpful at all. Basically dont know why you dont have the money. Im going to send you a delivery receipt to take to your bank and show it to them. Sometimes they have the transfer info but blah blah.

I get the email with the receipt. Which is the same one you can get from the website. Why he didnt just say print the receipt and bring it to your bank. I did that. Bank says they have no record of receiving it.

Called TW back on the phone. Go the the 20 min long talk about how they sent the money and they dont know why I dont have it and it must be Bangkok Banks fault. But this woman is going to call the payments department and ask them to initiate an inquiry with the partner bank. (Kasikorn) and get back to me. I said ok. What else can I do.

10 min later I get an email saying again she is going to do what she said she was going to do. But she also needed a current bank statement to I guess prove that I am not lying. I dont feel very comfortable sending my financial history to these people but I also want the money preferably soonest. 

Im not going back into the bank again so I took a screen shot of the online banking statement and sent it to them.

I understand things can get lost sometimes and its not a perfect world. I need the money for some things I have coming in the mail soon. I highly doubt this will clear up before tomorrow so I am going to have to use my US ATM card to draw money to pay for my coming goods. Which of course is going to cost me more money. And when I do (hopefully recover my last transfer) its not so easy to just send back to my US bank account.

If this takes a while to get resolved Im going to be livid and will deff. look into another option outside of TW. But who knows..It might get resolved very quickly. Trying to be optimistic.

Customer service wastes alot of your time though.

Same here just not in Hua Hin. I checked my bank but no pending deposit. When my tax return direct deposit came in I had no pending notification though. It just showed up. So I imagine 14 or 15 hopefully I will see it.

Are you following me?  I think you over complicated things for them...

Im in Khon Kaen and when this all started I went in to ask them about it. They told me they wanted a deposit every month of at least 40k and the bank letter showing this. I dont think they they care about averages or multiple deposits. If you do one deposit every month for min 40k I dont think you will have a problem. I do know that there are others who have received an extension with the 40k/ month deposits in Khon Kaen.  Ive been using the 400k option as TW made one deposit not FTT. Before I used to transfer 80-200k at a time. But not every month. I know now that doesnt work. They were adamant when they told me start transfer 40k every single month. Agree they should take the average of the monthly deposits as the police order says. But argue with them usually isnt going to get you anywhere. Try the 40 every month. That should be good next time.
