I'll wait for rainy season to kick in before sipping or munching without AC. Yesterday was brutal, and washed down lunch with cold water. Little to no breeze in the shade (feels like HELL):
That's 113F for you Yanks ... so that 2500 baht (internet/electric/water) monthly bills isn't happening either. If we had to pay for electric, that alone would run us 3k a month, at least.
I don't understand in what area you live, where I stay, at the border from Kaeng Krachan, was the temperature yesterday in the shadow 46º C, let's not talk about 'like' maybe we can say like Yuma in the USA.

Let's say what she describes are polite ways how Thais like to see themselves.
It seems reality is often very different from those ideals.
Indeed the way she talks about hygiene and table manners concerns hygiene.
There is sometimes a problem with that, even washing hands is often too much.

Thailand is full of this crap, I don't want to repeat myself, but I have recently already posted a video twice about the pollution taking place in Thailand.

If I'm right they are humans, same as you. Would you call yourself "animal"?
Can't wait to read your reply
Well, take a look in the Ukraine, there you can see how they behave.
Edit: As animals.

Yes as a Retired member of the UK Institute of Advanced Motorists I fully agree, and a few years ago I put your suggestion to my Thai brother in law, a Captain in Thai Police Force, his reply was as expected..... Thai people don't need to learn from Farangs...!!
Yes, the only expected answer.

Yes, good idea,.... but who's the Driving Instuctor ?,.. a Thai ?.. bad idea
I know, in LOS you are in a visual circle, but you have to start somewhere....
It would be the best to give a Thai driving lessons by a foreigner.

It's much worse. This is a link to a video that I posted yesterday under another item that concerns the item.
About plastic bottles in Bangkok.

Everybody is greedy and nobody wants to spend money. Tourists will be milked as long as possible.
The taxi mafia is a great example. It should be easy to enforce taxi-meter with decent prices. It should be easy to have public transport with decent prices. When I visited Phuket 30 years ago that problem was already well known. Was it ever solved? No. Why not? See above.
As far as I see the amazing thing is that still so many tourists visit that place.
You forget to mention the Russians, which has now also become a major problem, but of course should not be named.

This is now being addressed; birth numbers have been declining for years.

Well, sorry to say, but it is now 20 years too late for that.

A good business in Thailand seems to be a Brake repair shop, trouble is Thai's dont do maintenance
Or how about a good quality driving school.

Yes, that will matter a lot on the whole, if you see this movie regarding less plastic use in Thailand, it is still less than a drop in the ocean, unbelievable what is brought into this country and can go on because of the gigantic corruption.

For a country like Thailand, I think 32 rai is just a very small container port.

This the real side; https://www.goldtraders.or.th/
edit: For Thai gold.

Still, I marvel that in a country like Thailand with high temperature and high humidity and lots of hotels, this doesn't happen much anymore, after all, the conditions are ideal for this.

Thai and insurance are contradictions.
Incidentally it is common knowledge that Thai people hold gold as insurance but in case of fire, not much of that remains either.

It is the same story almost every year, I remember the same story as far back as 20 years ago that people feared a shortage of water.
But if one is so afraid of that, there is enough money being made in Phuket, wouldn't it be wise to build a desalination plant, after all seawater in abundance. -

It is so corrupt because most of the countries have dictators at the helm......the curse of humanity and will lead to catastrophe, as we're already seeing with russia.
For corrupt countries you don't need only dictators, even without dictators there are countries who are also corrupt.

It comes not only from air conditioners but also from stagnant water in water pipes and especially in hotels with water in the pipes at a temperature of 35ºC, the bacteria decompose well there.
