  1. Most gun nuts freighten me. Not right in the head.

My arsenal is correct for self defense and preservation. I check it once a year, then ignore it.

I am proven in armed combat 1963-1968.

The glory is in the telling, not the doing. The world seems to be a dangerous place. The ISIS type scum, Sharia, Meth, Racial Divide, wallowing in self pity.

The murder of peaceful innocents concerns me.

If you have never seen this first hand, you're lucky.

Sometimes it seems the tears will never go away.

Some people should always be armed.

    Some never.

I have no desire for conflict

    Armed or otherwise.

    I prefer Tequila, Commorativo,

    But any beer will do.

  2. In the nuclear power generation industry, it is important to minimize radiation exposure to maintenance workers. On valve packing glands, A practice referred to as live loading is used sometimes. Number and arrangement of Belleville washers pushing the packing gland against the packing sealing the shaft of the valve or stem makes the adjustment last longer requiring less attention.

  3. IMHO, everything Obama touches turns brown and mushy.

Nobel Peace Prize awarded On basis of pigmentation.

    The Syrian "Red Line".

    Obvious race card player.

Obama, Clinton, and Kerry keep shoving their arrogant noses in other countries business. No one really respects or takes seriously anything that goes in to or comes out of their mouths.

  4. I think when I come back after Songkran I'll rent something.

For years my daily commute for work was over 350km.

In the most nasty traffic imaginable.

    Southern California.

    BMW boxer twin mostly.

    I loved it.

    Especially when it rained.

    Lane splitting is legal there.

The total and complete commitment is therapy.

    I really miss it.

  5. I'm in Kammala now. Been here a month. Be here another month.

    I'm 71.

    I motocrossed 250 and open class CZ's.

    In 69 I raced a Kawasaki Triple.

    In 70 I raced a Dunstall Norton.

    All FIM sanctioned.

I did the last FIM Le Mans start in the USA.

Rode Harley long before helmet laws and electric starters.

Have owned half a dozen BMW boxer twins.

I want to try riding a motorbike here.

    Kammala and Patong.

    Surin and Karon.

    I am absolutely scarred shitless.

    Terrified.

If I try it possibly I'll find I worried needlessly.

I cannot afford repeated taxi fares.

So I'm really limited in what I want to do.

Am I the only one apprehensive about riding here?
