Seriously this has to be sarcasm, but there again I come across your posts daily... She allegedly threatened to kill him, with the backing of the family! If there's an attitude adjustment required, I would say the Mrs is well over due for one...Seems to me the wife had enough of you.
Go back to her, be sincere with her and promise her you will change your attitude towards her.
A good thing also is to get a bunch of nice flowers for her.
Good Luck to you.
As for the wife having rights over the kid, not a chance. From the OP's description of family life in the boondoo he'd be dragged up like an extra from the lord of the flies.

I'd be on the first flight back if I were Thaksin... The chance to face democratic justice from an opposition controlled junta,he'd be mad not too...?
-
I'm sure a few days in the heels & hot pants of a young dark skinned Isaan girl would bring her back to reality... I Wonder what bar she'd be working without her back ground..? Chity voice of the masses, I hope she is forever remembered for her hate speach and the campaign for true democracy...???

Some very bright sparks on TV calling the blood of Yingy baby... 10 years in jail my @rse, barred from politics for 5 years at best, even the general ain't that <deleted> dumb... OK maybe... Selfie anyone?
The muppet Suthep and the mad monk caused a lot more damage with their months of lawlessness and insanity, the reconciliation of this country ain't going to happen with Yingy behind bars!

To all those trying to justify or give reason that this nonce didn't know the girl was under age or was duped into believing she was older than she was, you are as sick as the #$&! arrested... It's a 14 year old <deleted>, make up or not only someone devoid of a moral compass would reason that she looked older, she's a child...

What is it with local muslims that make them behave like animals? The Islamic states and caliphates in the rest of the world seem to exist in supreme harmony, peace and prosperity earning Islam the moniker "religion of peace". Come on Thai Islamists, stop letting your religion down.
One is led to wonder whether it is all due to local or non local Muslims. In my experience of Muslims I've always found them decent down to earth sorts as is the case with many other creeds too.Yes there are extremists in all areas of religious s beliefs and other groups social or political, sport etc .Plenty of evidence of anti abortion religious characters attacking staff at abortion clinics along with arson attacks, bigotry is not limited to one group. However any discontent as may be stirred up could in the eye and minds of those involved in the attack embarrass the junta a little more and of course prompt outbursts ofselfrighteous indignation among the western world. All rather interesting propaganda if one looks at it with more than one eye and an open mind. However bear in mind that now as from Sunday 29th of June in fact Ramadan is now upon Muslims and peace normally prevails. One wonders whether, something, someone, somewhere is trying to engineer an ''action replay'' scenario.Remember it didn't concern Thaksin when the 78 Thai Muslims died as a result of being''weak'' due to Ramadan fasting.Amazing, you still managed to get Thaksin in there...

One of the biggest problems Thailand has is its repeated failure to take out the shin clan and this ridiculous scenario where people ask what will Taksin do next, until he is taken out of the storyline by whatever means necessary then the saga will continue and the country will carry on in its self destructive direction.
It's not just Thaksin and the Shin clan that needs to be "taken out of the storyline", it's all of them on both sides of the divide, including their backers...
Anyone praising this as a victory for democracy, reform or the Thai people think again. After the elections the same old faces are back in on both sides lining their pockets... That law abiding stalwart of democratic reform heading the PDRC (The acronym being an oxymoron in itself) is a prime example.
With the forthcoming elections nearing, the only way the 'Democratic Party' (I use 'democratic' in the loosest sense of the term), can hope to gain power is through yet more undemocratic action through the puppet courts and install the 'Quango' they long to put in place. After which what elections will be held..? Perpetual demonstrations/confrontations by both sides, dragging the country further down the sewer and making it a bigger laughing stock than it already is.
And before someone mentions the demand for a 'Bipartisan' committee to run the country, it won't, doesn't and never works, take a look closer to your home countries...
I don't advocate for either side, I'd just like to see the country I chose to live in stable for once.
Solution? Who knows, no one on this forum that's for sure...

"Meanwhile, the CMPO director said that he would not attend the Election Commissions meeting to scrutinize the centers budget, claiming that he was not the one responsible for the budgets disbursement."
CMPO director, Chalerm, is not responsible for the budget.
PM, Yingluck, chairwoman of the rice committee is not responsible for the rice scum.
Is there anybody, in this current administration, responsible for anything?
Apologies big fingers...
Costas, here you go again... I wonder if you sit at your computer all day blowing your whistle..?

"With such possibility of defiance of the law, of the court, and repeated wrongdoings, it was necessary to have a final push to overthrow the regime, Suthep said."
I wish, this time he succeeds in his quest to bring TRUE democracy in Thailand and get rid of the devouring maggots governing this country.
Don't delude yourself that it's limited to the PTP, he is one of the "maggots" devouring this country... How long do you think after all this façade ends his debts disappear..?
Another "final push", give it a rest, he's flogged this horse to death... Let the rule of law run it's course, have all these "maggots" as you put it, face the charges against them and move on with Bipartisan democratic reform (Red, Yellow, Green, White, Blue, Black, tartan whatever color their affiliation), without these "maggots" being involved. There again, what rule of law in this country? He's made an absolute mockery of it since November... Don't let me forget your nemesis Thaksin, he's also needs to get his @ss back and face the music, I'd hate to be accused of taking a side on this.
This nonsense has gone on far too long, to the detriment of the country and the people.
You should be embarrassed condoning the continuation of this cr@p.
Fresh elections need to be held, excluding anyone with convictions or charges pending from taking part. An all party reform commission set up and then move forward with a joint mandate and time frame for the implementation.
There again I'm only a farang with an opinion that doesn't matter, as are you, better to leave it alone and let the children sort it out.

Why do people get excited, start sounding horns and attempt to overtake when it's impossible to do so..?
While returning from lunch today, a late 50's farang couple behind the Mrs, sounded the horn when she stopped to let 'A' car out at a junction in heavy traffic... The farang driver then persisted to attempt an overtaking manoeuvre at every impossible opportunity there after. The driver eventually undertook the Mrs on the hard shoulder, only to arrive at their destination one car ahead. I would suggest that the driver of Kaw Kaw ***, that pulled into Philippe Restaurant around 14:40 today take a chill pill, next time there may not be a mild mannered (sedated) farang in the vehicle in front.
Given the renowned short fuse of Thai males and the national hatred of losing face, why do people persist on tempting fate? I had a pistol (real or not, I didn't hang around to find out) pulled on me about 6 years back at a set of traffic lights in Ratchaburi, after I sounded my horn at a pick up truck that cut me up. That was enough for me to learn my lesson.
It's Hua Hin <deleted>, you're going to get to wherever you're going within 20 minutes. I haven't heard of anyone having a gun pulled on them or getting a beating in Hua Hin as yet, but why tempt it for the sake of a few seconds? Your actions could potentially ruin more than your lunch date...

Who is going to clean up Suthep?Brilliant, we want more of this type of news, blast it out it may catch on. tip of the iceberg re abuse the people and the system every day.
There is more of this type of news . 5 Officials were jailed for 6 years in Chiang Mai for extorting market vendors. Wa's goin' on?
None of the police in this post, or any of the officials will be in prison next week, that is for sure.
This is not good news for Thailand, this is just more of the bad news for Thailand. Prison is for the poor, anyone with a few mill in the bank will always be allowed out.
This is one of the things that Suthep wants to change, love him or hate him. But he knows you have to clean up politics first and then the politicians will clean up the police from the top down.

I am sick of the pro-TS here keep only pointing at Suthep. What if today the person is not Suthep who want to overthrow the TS regime? What if he is only a Thai common citizen? What have you got to say?? After questions about the corruptions, problems and responsibilties, trying to above the law. Doesn't YL as the elected PM has any role to play?? SHe need not give any answer??? Dodging here and there. She HERSELF should have feel bloody shamed and volunteer to quit her PM position.
Some people may say whoever in-charge ,corruption is still around.
No change, means thing is done. Forever in TS regime, corrupted, citizens having hard life.
Try to change, may have chances to have a new corrupted free nation. It is very hard but slowly start better than no start.
I personally believe after this time protest, Suthep himself will aware that power is still belong to the Thai people and they will unite and come out together to kick your ass out if you are doing harm to their country and their beloved Supreme leader (i do not mean Suthep). Suthep is not a dumbass either. He will not want to become same like TS, hated by so many own Thai fellow people. After this Suthep will take the corruption seriously (I personally believe).
NO change, everything same same
Try change, may have something no same.
Why not give a change?
Cheers~
I am sick of Farangs backing either side & giving their worthless opinion on a wholly Thai matter. In the end, all the crap being spouted by farangs on this subject is irrelevant, so why bother making arguments for either group of fanatics..?

"It would be nice to see the Shinawatra's and their crew move to a foreign land but we all know they are out for money power and more money".
How ridiculous is this getting? Farangs advocating the entire Shin clan & those associated leave their own country... What do you think this would solve? They would only be targeted again for running the next PTP government form overseas. Suthep doesn't want elections, he wants his own self appointed power base. Democratic Party may arse.
BTW, who isn't out for the money?

Believe it or not, that's your call Slip.
Both sides are lolling out the cash to get them from the villages.

Pulled in for fuel at a PTT just outside Pranburi this afternoon, about 10 coach loads of anti government protesters having a pee break. 500 baht per day, per person is apparently the going rate for the rent a mob being bussed in. The lads I spoke to were only along for the cash, told to blow the whistles they'd been issued & cheer at any speeches made. Costly business for Suthep & His cronies.

Started drinking early, 12 when I started. Military at 15 didn't help (Scot), abused it ever since. Have stopped on many occasion, have started again straight afterwards. Only in the past couple of days has my son started to tell me to stop drinking, some of what he Said almost broke my heart. I have a problem & I admit it freely. I only hope that one day I'll be able to control my urge.

And the point is what..?
I've never seen women anywhere else in the world go at it... Sheltered life..?

Why on earth would a foreigner be protesting about the political situation here..? The Infamous Ausie @rse, during the last round of demos turned out to be a Walt. There again, there are enough TV members with an opinion (@rsehole) on this forum, that they would fit in well to the Thai political strata... Better to look nearer home, before criticizing or recommending how a country should be ran.
The thing the sickens me most, is that they (demonstrators) all profess to be on the side of the monarchy. If they were, they'd all do his Majesty a favour & stop their shenanigans... I'm sure he's truly sick of the whole sad, embarrassing affair.

Get a grip, there's a lot more to deal with in Thailand before legislation on the movement of livestock...
Wait a minute, aren't 30,000 red shirts heading to Bangkok...
