    Been in Portugal 4 years after 17 years in Thailand. Cost of living? Very similar. Property more expensive obvs. Food shopping mostly same. Beer less than half price. Wine ridiculous. Fuel costs more. National parks... Free! Loads of outdoor sports opportunities at great rates

    Never heard of pickleball in BKK. There are 2 padel locations however. I have played both, and the one above the Ambassador Hotel is superb

    Well, that saved our monthly outgoings of course. We were still operating at a loss but kept all staff employed

    We have always paid the company contribution PLUS the employee's contribution, so they have nothing deducted from their salaries. Just wondered if other companies did the same?

    Over the last 17 years, we have always paid social security payments for our staff instead of deducting from their salary. Just wondering if others do the same?
