  1. One post was hidden as it contained advice that is illegal in Thailand. I would suggest getting legal advice before shooting nudes in Thailand, as many countries have very broad views on what constitutes pornography.

In Thailand, the nude is OK, while the porn is NOT, it's not so easy to make a difference sometime, but I think it's ok as long it's stay as erotic/art domain, I see many thai photographers in this domain, but never in a hard porn, so I think I'm able to do the difference

  2. Hello, I would like to get some informations from photographers at Bangkok, who have ever worked with an amateur model in Thailand

I've worked with some amateur models in europe, but never here

My first question is where to find them ? I have found a website, but it's more for top models (fashion, magazines ... )

I've asked to several beautiful ladies in few massage parlour (thai traditionnal only)

and all the time they refuse, and I have noticed it was NOT for nude shots

I've found some models thru the facebook of some thai photographers

but a lot of girls seem to really work as models

and I'm searching more an amateur model

Else if you have ever made a photo session, have you paid them or offer them something ?

I've thought to give 500 bahts for one hour of shot, I think for an amateur model it should be correct, no ?

In the case of nude shots (no porn), 1000 bahts would be correct ?

Are usually the taxi fees included in the price, or it has to be paid separatly ?

How about to sign a model release contract if I plan to sell these pictures later ?

It has to be both in english and thai ?

I know it overpass a bit the amateur domain, but we never know about the future...

  3. Nice Pics!

Can i ask - what is your camera?

    for the first 2 : Sony Nex 5N + lens Sony 18-200mm , equiv. 27-300mm on old 35mm format

for the last 2 : Go Pro HD Hero 2 , nice fisheye view (equiv. 12mm on old 35mm format), discrete very small camera and waterproof, but results not good with low light, the daylight give good results

  4. 3 other pictures made at Terminal 21 :

the people you see on the picture are looking this special restaurant, where you can draw on the chairs or the wall, it has plush and kids book as decoration (the name is Reflections at the 4th floor)

  5. ok I didn't know it is a common practice...

but what surprised me is the fact I often drink Malibu when I go out, and it's the first time I taste a weird Malibu and 2 times on the same evening at 2 differents mobile bars on Sukhumvit, BKK, so I guess there is an artisanal "wholesaler" who maybe visit bars recently to offer his own product to refill some bottles... the 2 weird Malibu were exactly the same taste with very little part of coconut inside

if it's more easy to discover for Malibu (because I always drink without additives like pineapple juice and no ice) I guess for a rum coke it's easy to put a cheaper rum inside... almost impossible to detect !

Now on few types of bar I think I will order beers only... :-(

  6. I drink often Malibu for years (the white bottle with a coconut, but I guess everyone know that drink...)

and I have noticed, 2 times I've asked for Malibu and there were strange coconut very little part inside,

and the taste is not exactly the same... but I've seen the waiter/waitress serving the original Malibu bottle,

so my question is : do you think they could refill these bottles with a low cost rum + local thai coconut juice ?

After I felt some pain to stomach + little headeach, what I've never felt with a bottle of Malibu bought by myself...

at 120 bahts the little glass of maybe 4cl, the gross profit made on a sigle bottle would be 2000 bahts !

The original bottle is sold for 800 bahts at 7/11, so maybe they can buy it from a wholesaler at maybe 500 bahts ?

but if they would refill an original bottle it would be maybe 100-200 bahts... ??

Malibu or other alcools, do you think it's a common practice in Thailand to refill an original bottle ?
