Theres plenty of helmets with clear visor and built-in drop down sun visor... Problem solved?!
Yep that's what I've got, a HJC with the internal visor. Press the button on top of the helmet and it slides back up into the helmet. Works great, 5000 baht from the UK
I bought a couple of helmets with the internal visor but I find that I can't see as well with them as with a single exterior visor. The internal visor is fine for riding around town but out on the highway on a faster bike I don't find them acceptable. For riding around town on my Air Blade I use the helmet with the internal visor but out on the highway at speed another helmet with a tinted external visor.

They are on UBC live so I would think that any bar that has UBC/TrueVisions would be able to show them. The MotoGP race this week will be live on 109 at 7:00 PM. They also offer it live over the Internet for a fee and they have a free app for smartphones that has live timing.

Hmm a Panigale 1199 if made here would cost the same as a Diavel made here, 800k. If all the parts are imported for these bikes I can't see why not, really.
It is easy enough to see why the Monster was the first to be assembled here in Thailand since it accounts for 2/3 of Ducati sales worldwide, I think (hope) that they will start making several more models here and we will have more to choose from. I would like to see the Streetfighters made here also when it's time to trade up

I've had my 795 for about one month now and I really like it. Like someone else posted, it's basically a 696 with the 796 engine. The frame size for the 696,795,796, and 1100 are almost identical, just right for me but I can see where it would be cramped for someone taller. It is my understanding that all of the parts except the handlebar and wiring harness are imported but I wouldn't have any way of knowing that for sure. They are also assembling the Diavel here in Thailand now and the price has dropped from 1,500,000 baht to 800,000 baht.

I've had my 795 for about three weeks now and I love it. I've had motorcycles most of my life back in the US but this is the first one that I've had in Thailand except for my Honda Airblade . I've never had a bike that had ABS so I don't miss it. It is a little uncomfortable getting through congested traffic in Pattaya and it gets a little warm at an extended stoplight (not the engine, it keeps its normal temperature but the rider). That is to be expected but I'm having a blast with it and I'm glad that I bought it.

I bought a 795 about two weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it. I don't think that 400,000 is a bad price considering the other options. I had a Ducati many years ago and always wanted another one and they had an extra one at the dealership that they had gotten in for the show so I bought that one. I've been off motorcycles the last few years I've been living in Thailand so it's good to be riding again.

The more vents a helmet got, the more noisier it is.
Try the top of the line Arai helmet.
Do you know of any shops in Pattaya that sell them?

I just bought a Ducati 795 after living in Thailand for a few years without riding. I recently purchased a full face helmet to use while riding it and while I'm sure it offers good protection, it has very little ventilation and here in Thailand I think that good ventilation is a prerequisite if you are going to be doing much riding. Anyone have any advice on which helmet is the coolest?

I've had mine over three months now and I think that I like it better now than when I first bought it. Plenty of power and it is still small enough to split traffic and get in the front at all of the Pattaya stoplights .
