Perhaps you might be more specific than "social media scam". Facebook, Instagram...etc?

That's a reply I wasn't expecting. Kudos for giving me a full on belly-roll chuckle on that one.
I'm hoping that I can find a happy medium between the over branded /over scented metrosexual goo they sell next to the 37 varieties of hair wax and needing to file the sharp edges off a hunk of alum crystal from the wet market.
Surely, there must be some middle ground??
I know... don't call me Shirley. ????You will find the unscented crystal alum, shaped and in plastic containers for easy application, in most drug stores. It's effective and exceedingly long lasting.

I would always normally drink bottles rather than cans. Bottles generally have shorter shelf life as a lot less chemicals. Cans have a lot more chemicals to preserve for a long time. Similar amount of beer in bottles and cans - bottles, feel fine, cans easily get hangover.
Canned beer does not contain more "chemicals" than bottled beer. Canned beer will last far longer than most bottled beer because UV light cannot cause catalytic changes.

Yes, Facebook did remove Thai as one of the languages they automatically machine translate. This was due to a most unfortunate translation referring to queen. It was almost certainly unintended (it's machine translation) but it was quite offensive to Thais. Facebook, took down Thai machine translation until this could be fixed. It should be back by now. If not, I suggested in my other comment to use Chrome to view facebook and use the automatic Google Translate in that browser.
You may recall that the same thing happened about this time last year. Facebook remarked that the removal was in response to complaints regarding the poor translation from Thai to English regarding the birthday of HM the King.

Google Lens is the actual image recognition application. It has been incorporated into Google Photos and an increasing number of other apps. And yes, the AI behind it is incredible.

You can still copy the text and paste it into translate.google.com.

Less important than any particular coding language are the concepts of coding. Possibly the easiest entry to coding and coding concepts for young learners is the use of Scratch, a programming application developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In use by schools around the world since 2007 Scratch has a vast and vibrant online community of users and resources.
You can't miss with Scratch. Kids love it as they can see the results of their work throughout the process of coding. Further, for what it's worth, kids learn best the "basic knowledge about keyboards, mice, certain commands" in the context of real and engaging work.

I have for years striven to meet the 8 glasses a day recommendation. Because of my exercise regimen I often far exceed that, consuming 3-4 glasses prior to my early morning workout. If I am enjoying a beer, I always have a glass of water to counter the profound diuretic effects of alcohol.
The Mayo Clinic in the US states that "You've probably heard the advice to drink eight glasses of water a day. That's easy to remember, and it's a reasonable goal...Most healthy people can stay hydrated by drinking water and other fluids whenever they feel thirsty. For some people, fewer than eight glasses a day might be enough. But other people might need more."
It further states that other liquids such as coffee, tea, milk, cola and juices, although mildly diuretic, can count toward our total liquid consumption, with the usual caveats regarding excess sugar. Interestingly, food, such as fruit and vegetables, can add as much as 20% to our liquid consumption.

I'm with @lopburi3 on this. When living in Malaysia I searched high and low for the same and ended up buying on Ebay.

It's not just Texas; Americans overall are probably the most most obese people in the world, which stands to reason since America is also the country with the highest consumption of junk food (i.e.: excessive carbohydrates and heavily processed food products).
Not quite: among the OECD countries it's true, but worldwide "we are number 1!" ranks only number 12. ????

What I do when in the US is keep my Thai SIM on (or turn it on when needed) with roaming. There is usually no charge for receiving an SMS.
I do exactly the same. I turn the SIM on prior to any transactions and off when completed.

I've always used Office license keys that I bought 2nd hand, but now Windows have been messing around with Word, which is not working properly on all my PCs.
The Macros aren't working properly, in Office 2019, and I use them a lot.
I was told by MS this was because the license key was not OK.
It is expensive to buy Office with a payment every year, is there a cheaper way to get this sorted out?
I could buy a legit 2016 Office key, that'll be 5 years old, but perhaps that's the easiest way - no annual membership fees.Thank you
If it's a product you use why would you not pay for it?

I wonder if elastic bands might help. In addition to assisting with flexibility they can also provide core strengthening and improvement with balance. You might also find that you can tweak the movements and angles of use in ways your asanas cannot.

I suspect the team did not visit our area in North East Isaan, babies abound here.
I suspect the team used statistical data from all of Thailand, not casual observational data from one corner of the country.

When I travel for any length to Thailand or elsewhere I purchase travel insurance. Travel insurance is distinct from health insurance. With it one is covered for emergencies such as sudden illness or an accident. Good policies can provide coverage for missed/cancelled flights and lodging, lost luggage and emergency repatriation to one's home country. Furthermore, they are generally purchased just for the duration of your stay.
I've recently seen policies that will cover Covid, but I have no idea whether those policies will be acceptable by Thai immigration.
Do a search for "travel insurance" and buy a policy before you next travel abroad.

Sure, I mean like I said by the look it would be almost impossible for them to tell apart Chinese and Thai.
But what surprises me, and always make me laugh is that Thais prefer to believe that we are cheating them and that she is actually a Thai who doesn’t feel like speaking Thai, rather than believing she simply is not Thai. Amuses me ????
If neither you nor your wife speak or understand Thai, how exactly are you drawing this conclusion?

Kluay Nam Wa bananas are the most consumed bananas in Thailand. What you encountered were not "inedible little rocks" that someone put in them, but seeds. But do like the imagery of your description.
