  1. Complete contradiction in the text. States "All non-Thai passengers from the UK and Ireland will be subject to not less than 11-night quarantine (effective from 1 April 2021) at their own expenses at one of the facilities for Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) that have been approved by the Thai authorities".

It then suggests you book the 10 day package!! Are the Embassy staff unable to comprehend what they read from their own Government?

  2. Roblokk.

If I choose to live in a country and support the economy (95% more investment than most Thais), then I expect that country to support me in return.

When a Thai wife comes to the UK on a 2 year 9 month spouse visa, on day ONE, she is instantly allowed access to FULL NHS facilities and care. This is how civilised countries who respect other nationalities work.

  3. "The overwhelming majority of adults in England are so unhealthy they put their lives at risk, a survey suggests. The data from the Health Survey for England showed nearly nine in 10 had at least one unhealthy trait. "

What a load of <deleted>. One "unhealthy" trait will NOT put your life at risk at all, unles it's eating 50 burgers a day! A portion of chips does not make you fat, lack of exercise is the main cause nowadays.

  4. Lots of anger in the UK at the moment. We have a government organisation called the Office for National Statistics (ONS) which is linked to our National Health Service (NHS).

Their website gives the following amazing figures for Covid deaths.

    Under 20 with no underlying symptoms=  4
    Under 40 --------------------------------------= 39
Under 60 --------------------------------------=307 Total (includes the 43 above)

    Under 20 with pre-existing symptoms = 16
    Under 40 -----------------------------------  = 181
    Under 60 ----------------------------------- = 1304 Total (includes the above)

Nowhere near the 250,000 deaths the so called "Medical Experts" claimed would occur.

I, along with thousands upon thousands of others i've no doubt, will not set foot in thailand whilst we have to quarantine.

Ditch the quarantine and thailand will be up and running in no time.

I do however concede it's not that simple given the current climate but thats the brutal truth.

Yes. I get 3 weeks holiday from my work and they expect me to quarantine (at my own expense) for 2 of them. Allow me to quarantine at home. I want to see my family, not go walkabout.

Apologies for posting this on two threads, but this one I discovered was more relevant.

"My Thai partner and I have been back in Scotland for 6 weeks, but she has to return to CM for work etc soon. Her KLM return flight was cancelled, and we are also told the only option is a repatriation flight. Endless attempts to contact the Thai embassy in London have failed. The phone menu options just lead you in circles, clearly like so many of them in business this was written by a sadist.

If anyone can offer any help or advice about how we should tackle this (Whilst we still retain some sanity!) I/we would be very grateful."

Do you think that there may be a connection between these two statements?

There may well be but, bear in mind, medical facilities and manpower were not as available or advanced, as they are today. What I am stating, is that life carried on as normal. Look back a few years and the Asian Bird flu, SARS etc were all paraded as life stoppers but the world population is actually increasing.

After watching the video on youtube by Dr Carrie Madej named 'Urgent Information on Covid Vaccine" and just recently hearing that the pharmaceutical companies are pushing for a new law that anyone who is adversely affected by taking the corona virus vaccine they can't be sued has convinced me not  to take it. Also, it normally takes 5-6 years or more before sufficient trials are completed to determine the efficacy and safety of a potential vaccine and big pharma is working at warp speed to get a vaccine approved in record time. I feel it is all about the incentive for huge profits and damn the safety procedures. I also don't trust Bill Gates and his hand is all over this vaccine. His foundation is behind the funding of the biggest pharmaceutical companies working on a vaccine. I am concerned that Thailand will require you to show you were vaccinated against the corona virus once one is finally approved in order to enter Thailand. I have already told my wife that if they do require a vaccine to enter Thailand then we will be looking for a new place to live.

I lived through the major Flu outbreak in 1957, which killed thousands more people in UK (and the world) than this virus has. We did not go into social distancing, wear face masks, banned from seeing our loved ones, banned from going out, banned from everything, yet here we all are today! Total unfounded paranoia. I also will not return if a vaccine is mandatory.

  9. As Watgate stated, for the first time ever, drug companies are pushing for a law that makes them non-culpable should any problems occur from taking their vaccine. India already is suing due to changes in patients' DNA and severe side effects. The megalomaniac Bill Gates is pushing for his vaccine to be used (a coincidence I'm sure that his laboratory is in Wuhan!!), knowing that a trace element is in it that can track anyone. Our idiot PM, Boris, has just given £1.6 billion, yes BILLION, to the Gates foundation. Total corruption, disinformation and repression to the worldwide populace. I am 68 and greatly sympathise with the youth of today whose freedom has been taken away.
