Thanks! Did they mention the thickness of the steel?
-
I have an offer for a new (sliding) gate made of a stainless steel frame with aluminium panels These are the specs: Frame: Stainless steel (grade 304), Square Hollow Section (SHS) 1.5 mm thickness Panels: Aluminium 1.0 mm, power-coated Guide price (with installation) 5,900 per sqm. Discounted price for buying two gates: 4,700 per sqm. My questions: Is that a reasonable price for that type of steel? Is the thickness of the SHS 304 steel sufficient for this type construction (which is basically a rectangular 1.5m x 2.8 m)? Sample pictures attached

Thai teachers pierce lips of 36 kids over gum mischief

Indeed. These two teachers should be before a judge on charges of Intent to Cause Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH). -
I would look for someone who specialises in making shirts! I have a very good tailor who made several suits and trousers for me; top quality in terms of fabric, style and finishing. However they also offered shirt making, which I tried once. It was rather disappointing... The collar was way too stiff and the quality of the (cotton) cloth was mediocre. I found the selection of suitable cloth (with the right weave and style) for dress shirts seems very limited and a bit old fashioned. As said, unlike the high-end woolen (cashmere-like) cloth woven in Italy that I have been offered for my suits here, all the cotton cloth for shirts I have seen in Bangkok (Sukumvit) was rather unsatisfactory.

Hard to imagine that any official from the British embassy would turn up, if you ever get to talk to them on the phone. ???? -

Abortion is now legal, but why is it so difficult to get one in Thailand?

Exactly the same situation we are currently seeing in Northern Ireland. -
Found the answer: Government bonds, real estate funds, infrastructure bonds, or real estate investment funds None of these guaranty a return; they might be worthless or unsellable after three years. Another catch is that this option is only available to Long Term Resident (LTR) visa holders. Which means when the visa has expired they may not be able to enjoy their property.

Office Table Top - Acacia vs Teak vs Rubberwood vs Other
Morakot replied to creative1000's topic in DIY Forum
One of the consideration about the types of wood for a desk should be the looks. Teak will look very different than rubberwood or even acacia. Another consideration should be whether you are working with the wood yourself or merely placing a ready cut board on an existing frame. Hard woods like teak (but also acacia) would require more skills to work with and tools that are in very good conditions. Finally a minor consideration is durability of an indoor desk. If you are trying to make a heirloom piece for your great grand children go for teak. Otherwise it's probably not so important what you chose. -
Bank Mum On 2m Baht Claim For Seizing The Wrong House

Something doesn't add up here. This is a straight forward case of burglary and trespass. With the former being a major criminal offence. The perpetrator should be brought in front of court of law and sentenced accordingly. Police should have a duty to initiate proceedings on these criminal matters. Discussions about compensations should follow afterwards or in a separate civil case. -
Thanks! I appreciate that!
