IMO not so much believing they know more, but more not trusting scientists. IMO doesn't matter how long they studied, if they are dependent on grants from people or institutions that require a certain outcome.
Unless they are self funded, they are beholden to those that pay them.

Sand will indeed cause a bike to slide.
But riding too fast over said sand will help as well.....
I remember one time i had just replaced some fairing on my bike. I had to do a u~turn on to the opposite road. (obviously a truck carrying type 2 shingle had previously done the same u~turn.
My bike slid out from under me. !
I am not going to bother replacing scratched fairings any more .

From Australian info regarding passport renewal......
"While you can renew your passport at any time, doing it too early will mean you pay before you really need to".
I have 4 years and plenty of pages left on my pp.
Going to obtain renewal this year as due to lot of travel it's looking sad and good time to renew with no international travel happening (for me)!
Was looking at my PP last night too.
I might renew mine just over a year early (in order to coincide with the yearly extensions)

I have given up on the idea of travelling anywhere in, or especially out of, Thailand. Thailand changes the rules every 5 minutes so no it's not worth the risk. The world will still be there in 2023 onwards.
I agree, but sadly most business's within the entertainment industry will not be !

Of course they do.
I thought most of those venues are closed, so that might be why nobody is dancing.
