Good morning,
I would like to see if it is possible to bring my N.I payments up to date and if it is possible to continue doing so and be eligible for a pension when the dreaded day arrives. I have looked online but can't see where this is stipulated.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

I got my 30 days today so wish to apply for a Non Im O marriage visa. Please can you now disclose how much you will charge for this?
-
Thanks for helping so many of us. Let people see how much you are charging for these visas. How much for a Non Imm O, the initial three month one?

Could follow up by showing unemployment throughout the world and empty sporting arenas. nothing we didn't already know. What we all do know however is why the world is screwed and who caused it. I bet the CCP didn't include that in their report. Ooops, I forgot it was the US who did it not them. Mugs.

I have a notarized stamp on my degree from the British Embassy in 2016. In 2017 a solicitor from the UK also officially notarized it.
I have been told I need a second stamp from the Thai consulate before I can apply for a Non Imm B visa. They have said the 2016 certificate and stamp is now out of date and I need a new one. Previously I could send this off to Bk and get it back shortly after but I've since been told this is now not available and I have to send the entire lot back to the UK, to Milton Keynes and then onto the UK/Thai Embassy to get the stamp.
However, I have also been told I can still get this document from Thailand directly but nobody seems to know where or how.
From the details I have provided above does anybody know the exact procedure I need to take? Ideally I wish to get this one document (the degree stamped by the British Embassy) as painlessly and quickly as possible. I am paying a hefty fee to get the Non Imm B visa and I was hoping this would cover everything but it appears that my workplace are insisting on this second stamp by the Thai consulate before applying and the only way the consulate will give me this stamp is by obtaining this document that I already got in 2016.
Many thanks

The Chinese are not great travellers by any stretch and they aren't that great in their own country either. They have a peasant mentality and this will die off with the older generation. They spit everywhere, smoke in public around kids, they are actually worse drivers than Thais (I never believed this until I saw it) and they make noises like pigs when they eat. On top of this they are very inconsiderate however........they are trying to change this.
Let's be honest, people shouting into mobile phones, screaming at each other in public, walking aimlessly around malls and streets etc without giving a toss for who's behind them, slurping their noodles, peeing anywhere they choose, leaving doors wide open when they enter or leave, queue jumping, disrespecting places of beauty with litter, and above all INCONSIDERATE. I think the Thais above all would be throwing stones from a very fragile greenhouse no?

I am not sure of the stats involved here. I am no expert on any of it but as a guess I'd say both Thai men and women resort to violence due to their inability to talk things through rationally like we do in the west. There are very few creditable outlets to discuss issues. There is no remedial service available. Families and friends stick together and can't see things for what they actually are. Add to this a freak show of an upbringing in regards to handling your problems emotions or when to keep your mouth shut and the result is a pressure cooker waiting to go off.
Women are equally if not more spiteful than men in domestic disagreements. The difference is STILL, that a woman can slap a man in the face both at home and in public and it is seen as an action that carries a potential reason for happening. Should a man slap a woman in the same situation and he would likely be arrested and charged as a domestic abuser. If the public were to watch both actions occur it would be interesting to see the difference in response.

Not all but many Thai teachers get hefty backhanders on top. Corruption rules supreme at the earliest stages of Thai society and these 'poor' souls are at the very heart of it.
Again, many, but not all are completely incompetent.

I just hope he was doing it to take care of his parents as the kids often end up doing........but I doubt is as that is mostly left up to the girls.
Course he <deleted> wasn't!!! He was greedy, selfish, manipulative and couldn't give a toss. Money is thy Buddha. Money is thy family....money is all I care about. That's why he did it. Typical lowlife scumbag.
As for taking your family to Pattaya...WHY??? You pay for flights to a country that possesses the most stunning beaches and islands around. Phuket, Samui, Koh Chang, Krabi.....no let's go to filth ridden beaches in Pattaya kids. Failing that let's hit Central Plaza or the water parks. I don't get why any family wants to go there.
Don't get me wrong, I like Pattaya, lived there for years but when family visited....booked it, packed up and hit Koh Chang within 24 hours of their arrival.
Any clown stupid enough to make a family holiday there either didn't bother goggling in advance and therefore deserves the rude awakening or will be greeted by the cartoon noise when the s*it hits the fan.... Wahh Wahh Whahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

You aint 'alf a naughty baaastard TV.. You know this story will get us biting and it does! Keep it coming.
This pointless little cretin saw an opportunity to get fame and fortune and he got lucky. Let's hope the 'Karma' they also believe in comes back to him later on in life.
I'm all for giving people hope but he is exploiting other people's misery. Let's hope Karma gets him on his journey home.

He braved the monsoons.....
He predicted they would be found in one or two days....
Are these believers the same ones saying the cave was haunted? The same cave that represents a lover who committed suicide because her lover was killed by her father. That if you stand back and look from a distance you can see her image.
So to my knowledge and from experience (I am mostly ignorant to what they are supposed to be) a Monk is a man of simple ways and some sort of spiritual enlightenment. He represents the community and hope etc. Peaceful, humble, calm and honest.......This is, to my knowledge, somewhere near what he is supposed to be, whether reality tells me otherwise or not is irrelevant.
So.......since when did he become Nostradamus in a <deleted> cape!
Some local sees a bit of publicity for himself and gets lucky with a, let's be honest, crap prediction.
If he told these cretins that believe him that the moon is giant white Thai fish ball they'd believe him.

In stark contrast to that fool PM.
The BBC reports that the South and Mid Wales Cave Rescue Team have declined to comment on the rescue, while the British Cave Rescue Council, a representative body for cave rescuers in the UK said it does not name rescuers it sends to operations to "allow them to get on with their difficult task without distraction".

If this report hasn't been cut in any way he has come across as a complete and utter ****. My fears would be that the nation would turn this into a Thai flag waving, Thainess, Amazing Thailand, Thai smile bonanza sponserred by Thai airways.... The first thing I heard this morning was, "The monk said 2 more days..."
The fact of the matter is that these brave kids would have never been found if left to the skills and unity of the Thai people. Simply put, they do not have the expertise to carry it out. Other countries saved them and should be awarded the simple courtesy of a thank you.
I fear that this **** and his team will drag Thailand to the depths of pond life in the eyes of the international media once again.
Man up and allow the people who carried out this incredible rescue to take the accolades they deserve. For once step back and instead of talking about Rama and unity etc...tell it as it is. We the Thai people could not have done this without the efforts of our international friends. Nuff said

Search the headlines in either country. Nothing. This twit and his penny begging culture falls on deaf ears. He's there to feel a quota that's it. Nobody in the UK takes him or his politics seriously. He's a thief and a beggar.

Of which do you like the look? Let me know via PM.
Often, they'll have a trial period or a size limit to allow you to test the service before committing to a month or more.
I looked at a few but would be open to recommendations.
Thank you

What a great thread. So many terrific pictures that evoke warm memories of living in and visiting Isaan.
I first visited over 12 years ago and the photos on this thread are testament to what I like best about (a lot of, not all) the region - time stands still.

Ok, thanks OMF. To be honest, I have been doing as the Romans do ever since I've been here.
I appreciate your time and help.

Everybody in my workplace does exactly the same and has done for years. You want a film or football match to watch, download it.
I agree it doesn't fit protocol but its a staff room where people sit and read the paper, listen to music or do as they wish.
-
Thanks for that OMF.
'Torrents at work what were you thinking?'
You make it sound like I robbed a bank!

I have been downloading films, music, series etc from the same websites for years yet all of a sudden it has stopped.
I live in China now but it worked fine for months until recently.
On one Torrent client it shows the magnet was received but it sits there doing nothing and says 'Stalled', at 0%
The other is similar only it just sits there. On the programs and features list the second app says 'Unavailable.'
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried different websites to download from and the same.
The only way I got it to work was by joining a hot spot wifi, then I downloaded from another site. This immediately worked and when I logged back onto my wifi at work, which I normally download from until recently, it suddenly worked right through to completion. However, any subsequent attempts thereafter resultewd in the same failures again.
Could it be my work has done something? Or is it something more serious.
The VPN I use has been fine up until now also.
