I know of at least 1 uk farang was turned over about 12 months ago, while he was dozing, she got him to open his safe and took the lot,

Shame his hotel didn't request I.D. before letting her in, he woke up obout 3am and wandered down to reception completely naked, hadn't got a clue what was going on or where he was, took him 2 days to realise what had happened. It was his own fault, he would pick woman up off the street or beach and take them back to his hotel, was still doing it a week later, never learnt.

I am curious as to how the posters know what horse piss tastes like?

They have drunk gallons of the stuff in the past!

My wife is from Korat but lives in UK, her 12 yr old son lives in Korat with grand parents, she would be horrified if this was to happen to her son, any parent would, accident or not.

Just been stopped in police road block in main road Hua Hin not far from market village, stopping all motor bikes. Showed my uk driving licence which I thought covered you all over the world, they told me I need an international one and fined me 400 bht on the spot, got quite a few fines from others as well.

Where could I obtain an international drivers licence.

Sounds like the bloke is a steroid induced arseh--e, most gym owners are and by the way, steroids make ur tally wacky shrink so maybe he threatens you to make himself feel big again.

Try Post Office Internalional payments, take 2-3 days to arrive, its fee free but u get about 4 baht to the pound less than the days rate, whatever it may be on that date.

Can be done online in minutes if u pay with your debit or visa card. Give it a look !

I went last year by private mini bus i hired myself, about 4000 baht return, very long and boring journey, about 12 hours from start to finish.

Mini bus to A/C harbour, buy your ferry ticket and immigration, wait for ferry every 1 hour, ferry over to rayong, immigration and pay about 200 baht,

back onto ferry and back to harbour, mini bus back to Hua Hin.

Hua Hin is a lovely smallish town in the centre and expanding rapidly on the outskirts.

Been going there every year since 2005 for the uk winter months, very friendly place, people take the time to get to know you, where you from, what you do etc etc, not just another farang. Plenty of farangs living there, friendly as well and offer good advice.

Can rent new motorcy short term 200 baht a day or 150 per day for 10 days or more. Great food, plenty of bars and massage shops, lovely long beach

and great weather.

No go go bars or all niters so if thats what you want, then stay in pattaya or go to phuket.

Go and look and make your own mind up, I enjoy it there and hope to live there full time later this year.

Not the first time he has dressed up in womans clothes and make up and I doubt it will be the last.

This time hes gone public ! coming out eh !

House still for sale, only had 4 veiwings since late march and no bites.

Will consider reducing the price, working hard and saving as much as i can.

My dream is still very alive and i will make it a reality, sooner rather than later.

My house in the uk is now on the market for sale, as soon as its sold im going, no looking back.

England is so cold and damp and a very depressing to live now, im 52, maybe got 28 more years left,

maybe more, maybe less, nobody knows, so im going to live the rest in happyness in a place i want to be

doing what i want, simply.

Can easily live on 30,000 bht a month without being stingy, its my dream and im going to live it, i wont

fail.

Just hoping my house sells quickly, cant wait to get back and will keep you all informed about where i will

be living and doing and my monthly expences, maybe meet up with some of you.

I fly from birmingham to amsterdam and then on to bangkok business class with china airlines,

return.Open ticket for 6 months.

Treated like a king, business class lounge, all drinks and snacks are free, priority boarding

and disembark, priority passport control, baggage out first, just brill, wont fly anything else.

Then take a trip to Hua Hin, walk the barstreet (s), pass the many "massageshops" where the ladies sitting outside are not shy to lower their bra, showing their tits, while saying the magic words" massage" . Even doing it, if you are just passing on your motorbike.

100 baht fine wont make a blind bit of difference,

they probable earn 20 times that every day i suspect.

If they offered a genuine service for a punter and not

rob them, then maybe no problems.

Ive ony been pattaya twice with my thai wife and it has

an uneasy feelin about it, phuket nearly the same now.

I know this might create a responce from some t.v. users, i,ve been going to hua hin since 2005 for about 3 months

per visit, never seen or even heard about any problems there, even from my farang mates who live there.

Keep your wits about you and keep safe.

Yes i make Krapow Gai,(chilli chicken), Gan gari gai (yellow thai curry) fried rice, fried vegetables thai style.

Learnt to cook from my thai wife, some times just make it up as i go along and just keep tasting/ checking until

it tastes right.

Im allergic to fish so dont use fish sauce, instead i use mushroom sauce or thin soy sauce and the secret ingredient

to any recipie is Chicken Powder bought from thailand.

Home cooked food is 100 times better than any thai restaurant food in the UK..
