gotta say i have read about beach clean groups down south...problem i have seen working in vietnam on a beach was the FISHERMEN...night boats would toss all kinds of trash off boat for it all to appear again on the shore the next day.....

Been there..i volunteered in fishing village in vietnam....beautiful ocean and beach BUT the locals would come to beach at sunset and leave trash about....i worked at a hostel and there was a 5 start resort next door......so we would go out and collect trash to set an example..locals laughed at us,,,we even bought big blue cans to use for trash...next day they were stolen.....

maybe thailand isnt for you.....please do tell us of this Utopia that you originally came from where the streets are paved with gold...

id take the train if going to BKK from CM as its a long haul..can move around on train...sleep in a bed..eat..even shower..... and i did it in 3rd class from HH...........def a local exp....on a bus your stuck in a seat..i already got stuck in a seat for 24 hrs just getting to LOS....if in a rush ill fly to bkk......but cant say ive ever felt the need to go to BKK to begin with,,,, I do take the green bus to chaing rai then switch to local bus to C.Khong.....windows down and living the dream with locals get out of your comfort zone once in awhile....its where the good stuff is...or just be a hiso baby and take 1st class.....

what bus are you taking??? who has the pizza breath? thais??? are they all splitting a pie at the station b4 boarding???..if they are taking a bus maybe to save for the $$$ pizza later! loud talkers??? most thais I see on the bus are out like a light in 5 mins and is much quieter than a tourist van of backpackers all the supposed phone noises etc?...is why i bring earplugs or wear my headphones and listen to music.... i like to have a toilet esp on a bus.....maybe dont book a seat next to one and the nice buse keep that area clean and contained but you do you....i love the local bus..windows down..beat up..all locals....is why im in LOS after all --to immerse myself in thai

TRUE statements would NOT be...see how that works. as i have left BAD reviews here in LOS based on BAD service aka truth Saying FALSE things about any business can lead to this ,,anywhere....see how this works??? but do go on about freedom of speech etc,,,you must be the one making jokes about bombs on planes.....smh whats your grievance today ????

riding my bicycle around city as i do daily....was near a school as kids were about...some somchai in a hotel van comes flying down the road on MY side of the road trying to pass another driver.....had a thai dude next to me on his mbike too as we both stopped and i yelled at his and said WTF!!!??....i think i did see a wave/apology from him but only bcos im sure he had tourists inside witnessing this as the hotel was labeled clearly on the van.....I should have went to the hotel and called him out... the only acceptable excuse for his behavior would be if the van was full of chinese tourists which seem everywhere in city

is why i dont go to hiso snobby joints....i perfectly content eating street food and drinking my sangsom outside
