Can we get some seatbelts in the backseat?

Sorry if this has been discussed (recently), but I couldn't find anything speaking directly to this:

I have a WP and a non-O extension-of-stay (and my passport is stamped "THAI WIFE")...if I quit my current job, do I have to jump through the hoops that non-B extensions require (leave immediately or get the 7-day extension for 1900B, etc.)?

How long can I be unemployed between jobs?

I just received my extension last week (good through Jul13, 2013).
